Methylene blue aqueous solution 1% 25 ml

Methylene blue belongs to the group of antiseptic dyes; its bacteriostatic effect occurs as a result of interaction with mucopolysaccharides and proteins of microorganisms.

Contraindication

Individual intolerance to the components of the drug.

Indications for use

Burns, pyoderma, folliculitis, urinary tract diseases, including cystitis, urethritis.

Application

Externally, locally, on the affected areas 2-3 times a day until the symptoms disappear. For cystitis and urethritis - irrigation of the cavities with an aqueous solution of 1: 5000 (0.02%) 1-2 times a day.
