Mitogenol Mitogenol capsules No. 90
Instructions for use Mitogenol capsules No. 90
Description
Mitogenol is the first combination in Ukraine of therapeutic doses of coenzyme Q10, fulvic acid and PQQ, enhanced with bio-active forms of B vitamins, to increase the energy potential of reproductive system cells.
Mitochondria are organelles in the intracellular space that are responsible for producing adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the main form of energy for cellular processes.
Maintaining the proper quantity and quality of mitochondria in the reproductive system is particularly important, as the development of eggs, sperm, the fertilization process itself, and the subsequent development of the embryo require significant energy resources.
With age, the level of energy reserves decreases, which leads to the process of cell aging and deterioration of a person's reproductive potential.
The effect of mitochondria on sperm
Regulation of spermatogenesis. Mitochondria support the energy supply and antioxidant protection of Sertoli cells, which are involved in the development of spermatids.
Improved morphology. Mitochondria provide optimal conditions for DNA synthesis, replication, and sperm division.
Energy of movement. A mature spermatozoon contains 72 to 80 mitochondria in the middle part. Improved function and increased number of them provide a sufficient level of energy for sperm movement.
Fertilizing ability. Mitochondria are involved in the formation of the acrosome, which contains enzymes necessary for the sperm to penetrate the egg.
Maintaining viability. Mitochondria regulate apoptosis processes and maintain sperm viability.
The effect of mitochondria on eggs
Regulation of follicle/oocyte development: Oogenesis requires significant amounts of energy. Mitochondria support the energy supply and antioxidant protection of follicles and oocytes at all stages of their development.
Egg maturation: During maturation, the egg undergoes 2 divisions of its genetic material (meiosis). Mitochondria provide energy for the processes of meiotic spindle assembly, chromosome segregation, and movement to the poles of the cell.
Genetic quality of eggs: The decline in the ability of mitochondria to synthesize ATP with age is associated with the accumulation of mutations in the mitochondrial genome. The longer an oocyte waits to mature, the greater the likelihood of an mtDNA mutation. That is, the longer an oocyte remains in the ovary before fertilization, the greater the likelihood of genetic damage.
Embryo development after fertilization: Mitochondria provide energy for the division of the zygote and the differentiation of embryonic cells after fertilization.
Biological action of MitoGenol components
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) – trans isomeric form, in a significant dose of 300 mg.
the reduced active form of CoQ10, which is much better absorbed than ubiquinone.
It is part of the electron chain of mitochondria, where it plays the role of an electron carrier. This contributes to the production of energy in the process of oxidative phosphorylation and the synthesis of ATP, which is the main source of energy for all cellular processes.
It is a powerful antioxidant, protects cell membranes from lipid peroxidation and enhances the activity of other antioxidant enzymes, counteracting mitochondrial dysfunction1.
Pyrroloquinoline quinone (PQQ, Vitamin B14) – 21 mg.
PQQ induces mitochondrial biogenesis; this means that PQQ helps reproductive system cells produce more mitochondria and therefore more cellular energy;
has a powerful antioxidant activity that is selective for mitochondria, much stronger than other quinones and enediols;
support free and total testosterone levels.
Fulvic acid (Fulvic acid (60%)) – 210 mg.
Keeps Coenzyme Q10 in its active form and increases its transport into mitochondria;
Promotes regeneration and repair of damaged mitochondria.
It has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, which is especially important at the age of 35+.
Vitamins B1 and B6
Found in the form of final metabolites, they help form coenzymes and are important for metabolism and energy metabolism in cells.
Deficiency of these vitamins affects the functioning of mitochondria and energy metabolism in reproductive cells.
