Properties
According to publicly available literary sources, the components that make up the MONMOROL® dietary supplement have the following properties:
CherryPURE® consists of 100% natural Montmorency cherries (Prunus Cerasus). Montmorency cherries contain high levels of anthocyanins (red-purple pigments), flavonoids, polyphenols and antioxidants. To obtain the dry concentrate, only the nutrient-rich skin of Montmorency cherries is used, dried using freeze-drying technology, which preserves the active ingredients to a maximum concentration of 50:1. Tart Montmorency cherries help reduce uric acid levels by excreting urates in the urine. The use of Montmorency cherries is included in the recommendations of the Austrian Society of Rheumatology and Rehabilitation regarding lifestyle and nutrition for patients with gout and hyperuricemia.
Dry extract of willow (Salix alba) contains salicin, tannins, flavonoids. It is a natural anti-inflammatory and analgesic agent due to the presence of salicin and other derivatives of salicylic acid in its composition. Willow bark has a long tradition of use as an antipyretic and analgesic, starting from the 18th century. Salicin is the main active component of willow, which is converted into salicylic acid in the liver. Due to this, willow extract contributes to the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect in gout and works in combination with Montmorency cherry, enhancing the properties of each other.
