Composition
active ingredient: tincture of dog nettle herb;
1 bottle contains tincture of dog nettle herb (Leonuri cardiacae herba) (1:5) (extractant – ethanol 70%) – 25 ml;
excipients: none.

Pharmacodynamics
The drug has a sedative effect. Biologically active substances contained in motherwort herb (steroidal and flavonoid glycosides, essential oil, stahydrin, alkaloid leupurine, saponins, tannins) enhance the process of inhibition or reduce the process of excitation in the central nervous system. It does not exhibit a hypnotic effect, but facilitates the onset of physiological sleep and deepens it. It does not cause the phenomena of addiction or mental dependence.

Indication
Functional disorders of the cardiovascular system (neurocirculatory dystonia of the hypertensive type), initial stages of arterial hypertension, increased emotional excitability, irritability, mild forms of sleep disorders.
Contraindication
Increased individual hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Severe arterial hypotension, bradycardia.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Motherwort-Vishfa may potentiate the pharmacological effects of sedatives, hypnotics, analgesics, antihypertensive drugs, and cardiac glycosides, and also enhances the effects of alcohol.
If you are taking any other medications at the same time, you should inform your doctor.
Application features
This medicine contains 70% by volume of ethanol (alcohol), i.e. 690.55 mg/dose. Harmful for patients suffering from alcoholism. Caution should be exercised when used in patients with liver disease and epilepsy.
It is not recommended to use the drug for a long time due to the ethanol content.
Shake before use.
Motherwort-Vishfa is a common herbal medicine for use according to indications confirmed by long-term use.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Since the medicinal product contains ethanol, Motherwort-Vishfa should not be used by women during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
When using the drug, one should refrain from potentially dangerous activities that require increased attention (driving, working with mechanisms).
Method of administration and doses
Apply internally after meals.
Adults should be prescribed 30−50 drops of tincture 3−4 times a day, children over 12 years old - at the rate of 1 drop of tincture per 1 year of life.
The duration of the treatment course is determined individually for each patient, taking into account the nature and severity of the pathological process, the characteristics of the course of the disease, the tolerability of the drug, and the stability of the achieved therapeutic effect.
You should consult a doctor if the symptoms of the disease do not disappear while using the medicine or if any adverse reactions are observed.
Children
Since the medicinal product contains ethanol, the tincture should not be used in children under 12 years of age.
Overdose
If the recommended doses of the drug are exceeded, dizziness, drowsiness, and decreased blood pressure may occur. In case of overdose, the drug should be discontinued and immediate symptomatic and supportive therapy should be administered (according to the patient's clinical condition).
It is possible to develop hypersensitivity to the drug.
Adverse reactions
With individual hypersensitivity to the drug, local allergic reactions may develop (including redness and swelling of the skin, rash, itching), as well as dizziness, drowsiness, feeling of fatigue, decreased mental and physical performance.
