Motiligas 120 mg capsules No. 40

Motiligas soft capsules are used for the symptomatic treatment of abdominal bloating (flatulence).

Composition

Active ingredient: simethicone (one soft capsule contains 120 mg of simethicone).

Excipients: gelatin, glycerin, purified water.

Contraindication

Method of application

For oral use.

Adults: recommended dose - no more than 4 capsules per day.

Take one capsule after each main meal, with a glass of water.

The duration of treatment is no more than 10 days.

Application features

Pregnant women

There are no data on the use of simethicone in pregnant women. Data on the reproductive toxicity of the drug obtained during animal studies are insufficient. Although simethicone is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract and is physiologically inactive, Motiligas should be prescribed during pregnancy only if, in the opinion of the doctor, the expected positive effect for the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus.

Simethicone is not excreted in breast milk.

Children

Motiligas is not recommended for use in children due to a lack of relevant information.

Drivers

The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and other mechanisms.

Overdose

There have been no cases of overdose. In case of using doses higher than recommended, you should consult a doctor.

Side effects

The frequency of adverse reactions is defined as follows: very common - ≥ 1/10; common - from ≥ 1/100 to <1/10; uncommon - from ≥ 1/1000 to <1/100; rare - from ≥ 1/10000 to <1/1000; very rare - <1/10,000, frequency unknown: it is impossible to estimate the frequency based on the available data.

On the part of the immune system: frequency unknown - hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash, itching, swelling of the face or tongue, difficulty breathing.

Interaction

Levothyroxine may bind to simethicone. The absorption of levothyroxine in the intestine may be impaired when taken simultaneously with simethicone. Interaction studies with other drugs have not been conducted.
