"Multisorb®" contains biopolymer substances in an activated state. They are able to interact with the intestinal contents to achieve a therapeutic effect. The active components retain water on the molecules with a natural increase in the volume of the stool. Retention of water in the intestines on the molecules of biopolymers provokes increased peristaltic movements of the intestinal wall, accelerates the excretion of feces. Cellulose and lignin molecules are insoluble. They act as sorbents against exotoxic substances and metabolic products. Due to its strong sorption properties, the drug acts as a detoxifying agent. When passing through the gastrointestinal tract, biopolymers adsorb bile acid molecules, which leads to a decrease in the concentration of cholesterol in the blood plasma. A decrease in the concentration of bile acids leads to an improvement in the physical parameters of bile, reducing the risk of stone formation. The drug is able to sorb excess carbohydrates, triglyceride molecules, which improves the condition of patients with diabetes mellitus, reduces the risk of developing atherosclerosis. "Multisorb®" can indirectly reduce the need for insulin in patients with diabetes mellitus. It has been established that biopolymers reduce the risk of developing oncological pathologies. This is due to the lack of probability of contact of carcinogenic molecules with the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, accelerating the elimination of carcinogens from the body. Sorbents also contribute to the inhibition of the synthesis of carcinogens from heterocyclic amino acids. Pectin is able to sorb ionic groups of heavy metals and form safe high-strength complexes with them. Pectin has a beneficial effect on the growth of saprophytic intestinal microflora. This effect is due to the synthetic cleavage of pectin to organic acids, which create a weakly acidic intestinal environment. In the case of a reduced pH, the growth of pathogenic microorganisms is inhibited. Organic acids contribute to the neutralization of ammonia molecules to neutral ammonium ions. Pectin indirectly stops the synthesis of histamine by bacteria and reduces the intensity of allergic reactions. The products of pectin metabolism are absorbed into the blood and have a beneficial effect on energy metabolism.

Method of application
Recommended dosage:
Children from 3 to 6 years old - one sachet per day; Children over 6 years old - one sachet 1-2 times a day; Children over 12 years old and adults - one sachet 1-3 times a day.
The contents of the sachet can be dissolved in a small amount of water (30-50 ml) until a mushy mass is obtained.
