Neoprobio (2 blisters of 5 pieces) is a probiotic vaginal suppository containing live cultures of lactic acid bacteria of the genus Lactobacillales. These bacteria attach to the vaginal epithelium, lowering the pH level in the vagina. The resulting acidic reaction creates unfavorable conditions for the development of pathogenic bacteria and, therefore, for the recurrence of infection, while creating favorable conditions for the development of lactic acid bacteria. On the other hand, Neoprobio contains lactose, i.e. a substance vital for beneficial bacteria (prebiotic). Ascorbic acid also reduces the pH of the vaginal secretion, restoring the optimal environment for the development of lactic acid bacteria, and folic acid has a beneficial effect on the vaginal epithelium.

Method of application

Neoprobio vaginal suppositories are used in diseases characterized by a violation of the qualitative and quantitative composition of the bacterial flora of the female genital tract (dysbacteriosis, bacterial infections or vaginal bacterial and fungal infections). The use of Neoprobio vaginal suppositories may be useful in cases of non-specific inflammation of the vagina in women with an increased pH of the vaginal secretion. When used prophylactically, Neoprobio helps to maintain favorable conditions for the development of the natural bacterial flora of the vagina.

Dosage and use

As an adjunct in the treatment of genital tract infections, to reduce pathogenic bacterial flora in the vagina and restore the natural pH of the genital tract, from one (preferably before bedtime) to two suppositories per day (one in the morning and one at night) for 10 days.

Prophylactically to maintain the normal composition of the bacterial microflora of the genital tract and physiological pH: one suppository (preferably before bedtime) for five days.

Can also be used during and after antibiotic treatment.

Wash your hands thoroughly before use. Insert the suppository deep into the vagina. If you are unsure about the dosage and method of use, consult your doctor or pharmacist. If after several days of use the pain increases or persists, consult your doctor. Girls (teenagers) should consult their gynecologist before using Neoprobio vaginal suppositories.

Application features

The product is used during pregnancy to obtain a healthy microbiocenosis of the genital tract, which ensures the transfer of beneficial microorganisms to the child. The product is also suitable for breastfeeding.

Precautions for use

The product is usually well tolerated. In rare cases, symptoms of hypersensitivity to the components of the product may occur. Reactions such as burning, itching, irritation of the mucous membrane of the vagina and vulva may occur. If these symptoms occur, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Contraindication

Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any component of the product.

Storage conditions

Given the presence of live cultures of probiotic bacteria, Neoprobio vaginal suppositories should be stored in a refrigerator (2-8 °C). Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the outer packaging. Keep out of the reach of children.

Shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
