Composition

active ingredients: 1 package (100 g) contains a mixture of medicinal plant raw materials: elderberry flowers (Sambuci flos) 9 g, plantain leaves (Plantaginis majoris folium) 9 g, knotweed grass (Polygoni avicularis herba) 9 g, horsetail grass (Equiseti herba) 9 g, common buckwheat grass (Bursae pastoris herba) 8 g, corn with columns with stigmas (Zeae maydis styli cum stigmatis) 8 g, dandelion roots (Taraxaci officinalis radix) 8 g, burdock roots (Arctii radix) 8 g, bearberry leaves (Uvae ursi folium) 8 g, peppermint leaves (Menthae piperitae folium) 8 g, chamomile flowers (Matricariae flos) 8 g, rowan grass (Bidentis herba) 8 g.

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics.

NEPHROPHYT has a diuretic effect and increases the nitrogen-excreting function of the kidneys, has a mild saluretic effect, i.e. promotes the excretion of salts to some extent. It has a positive effect on the urea-forming function of the liver and the cleansing function of the kidneys. It has antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects.

Indication

Comprehensive treatment and prevention of exacerbations of inflammatory diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract, which are accompanied by a decrease in urinary and nitrogen excretory function, urolithiasis, and edema.

Contraindication

Gastropathy with increased secretion, chronic renal failure, gastric ulcer in the acute stage, obstructive jaundice, cholelithiasis with stones over 10 mm in diameter, acute cholecystitis, acute hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver, biliary tract obstruction, thrombophlebitis, croup, anorexia; hypersensitivity to any component of the drug.

Special safety precautions

It should be used with caution in cases of increased blood clotting, as well as in patients with bronchial asthma and spasmophilia.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Due to the lack of sufficient experience with the use of the drug during pregnancy, it should be used as prescribed by a doctor in cases where the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus. If necessary, use of the drug should stop breastfeeding.

Method of administration and doses

Brew 2 tablespoons of the collection in 500 ml of boiling water, let it brew in a closed container for 1 hour, strain.

Adults and children over 7 years old should take ⅔ cup (150 ml) warm for
20-30 minutes before meals 3 times a day.

The duration of use is determined by the doctor. Usually the course of treatment lasts up to 2 months. If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated at intervals prescribed by the doctor.

Dyspeptic symptoms and increased adverse reactions may occur.

The drug is usually well tolerated by patients. However, given the multicomponent composition of the drug, in some cases, as a rule, with individual hypersensitivity to any component of the drug or violation of the recommended regimen of its administration, the development of allergic reactions is possible, including hyperemia, rashes, itching, angioedema, contact dermatitis, urticaria.

It is known from literary sources that the use of mountain ash leaves can cause pain in the lower back, change in urine color, and pain at the end of urination. Despite the fact that the NEPHROPHITE collection contains a small amount of mountain ash leaves, such manifestations are not excluded.
