Active ingredients
Ginkgo biloba leaves contain ginkgetin, kaempferol, quercetin, bilobetin and some other flavonoids; nonacosanol, hexacosanol, amentoflavone (biflavonoid), pinet; shikimic, quinic, linolenic and hydrogenic acids, terpenes, catechins, lactones, starch, wax, pentosans, mannan, fS-sitosterol, essential and fatty oils.
Ginkgo biloba affects the rheological properties of blood, prevents platelet aggregation, reducing its viscosity and the likelihood of blood clots in the vessels, has a vasodilating effect primarily on the vessels of the microcirculatory bed, eliminates stagnation in the venous system, has an anti-edematous effect. Ginkgo biloba eliminates circulatory disorders, restores the elasticity and strength of blood vessels, improves the nutrition of brain cells. Normalizes metabolic processes, has a neuroprotective, antihypoxic and antioxidant effect.
