Description

Bandages are made of type 17 gauze (density 23 g/m2). Clarity within tolerances in length and width. Easy to unwind (edge threads do not tangle). High capillarity (about 11 cm). Tearing load along the length is higher than normal (about 90 N). High level of whiteness. Sterilized: Gamma irradiation.

Recommendations for use

It is recommended for use on open wounds or burns, as well as in rooms with special requirements (e.g., operating rooms).

Special applications

The bandage should be applied with clean hands, preferably wearing medical gloves.

A loose dressing should be secured tightly as this can affect wound healing and cause irritation. Securing the dressing with a bandage prevents contamination and infection of the wound.

It is necessary to ensure that the bandage is not too tight so as not to impede blood circulation.
