Rectal suppositories "Novocaine" are used for hemorrhoids and anal fissures.
Composition
The active substance is procaine; β-diethylaminoethyl ester of paraaminobenzoic acid hydrochloride (1 suppository contains procaine hydrochloride (novocaine) 0.1 g).
The excipient is solid fat.
Contraindication
hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; arterial hypotension; myasthenia gravis; childhood.Method of application
Administer rectally.
Adults - one suppository 1-2 times a day.
