Noxpray Silver is part of a comprehensive treatment for rhinosinusitis in the form of a medical preparation for children aged 1 year and older and adults. Noxpray Silver nasal spray has antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal effects, and also promotes the regeneration of the nasal mucosa thanks to silver ions and dexpanthenol.

Colloidal silver – silver proteinate – is a universal antimicrobial agent with a wide spectrum of action. Silver ions, which are part of the Knoxpray Silver nasal spray, have antiseptic properties, they are able to inhibit the reproduction or cause the death of most bacteria and viruses (including the influenza virus), and also exhibit antifungal activity. The antimicrobial effect is due to the ability of silver ions to adsorb on the surface of the microbial cell, pass through the membrane and completely block the action of sulfhydryl groups of the enzyme systems of the microorganism, disrupting its vital activity. In addition, silver ions attack and destroy the DNA molecules of microbes, making it impossible for them to reproduce. Due to these intracellular mechanisms of action, bacterial resistance to silver ions has not been observed over the past few decades.

Dexpanthenol promotes the regeneration of damaged nasal mucosa, as well as moisturizes and relieves irritation.

Method of application

Clean your nose thoroughly. Shake the container and remove the protective cap.

Before first use, squeeze the spray several times until an aerosol appears. Insert the tip of the spray into the nasal passage and press it firmly by pressing the spray with your index and middle fingers until it stops. Do not tilt your head or turn the container upside down when spraying the spray. During spraying, breathe in carefully through your nose.

Use one spray in each nostril 2-3 times a day.

The usual course of treatment is 5-10 days, but can be extended up to 3 weeks on the recommendation of a doctor.

When applied topically, silver proteinate has no general systemic effect.
