Indications for use
OFTAlipid® is a sterile, preservative-free medical device for ophthalmic use, consisting of a slightly hypotonic saline solution with high biocompatibility and physiological pH, combining medium molecular weight sodium hyaluronate and liposomes, and packaged in 0.5 milliliter (ml) single doses.
Liposomes combined with hyaluronic acid provide functional support to the ocular surface by restoring the lipid layer, which limits and controls tear film evaporation. OFTAlipid® is also able to regulate and improve lubrication and hydration of the ocular mucosa.
OFTAlipid® is recommended for the elimination of redness, dryness and eye fatigue caused by dry eye syndrome, which occurs, in particular, due to the insufficient quality of the lipid layer of the eye surface, negative environmental influences (dust, allergens, smoke, smog, air conditioning) and eye fatigue due to prolonged use of a computer, TV and video terminal. The product can even be used by those who wear contact lenses without removing them to improve eye lubrication and increase comfort.
Recommendations for use
- Open the protective foil bag.
- Separate the single dose from the block of 5 units.
- Unscrew and remove the monodose cap.
- Gently press the monodose and instill 2-3 drops into the eye.
- After use, immediately close the monodose with the lid and use the remaining contents within 12 hours.
- Store unused single doses in the original foil pouch.
- The product is intended for single patient use.
- The product is compatible with contact lenses.
Method of application
Instill 1-2 times a day or as prescribed by a doctor.
Composition
Lipoid 1%, sodium hyaluronate, sodium chloride, sodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, purified water to 100 ml (ml).

Packaging
The box contains 2 foil pouches, each containing a block of 5 monodoses; each monodose contains 0.5 milliliters (ml) and is resealable.
Application features
- The product is for ophthalmic use only.
- After opening the single dose, it is necessary to close it with an appropriate lid and use the remaining solution within 12 hours from the moment of opening.
- Do not use the product if the packaging or single-dose container is damaged.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- If necessary, consult a doctor regarding use in pediatrics, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Wash your hands thoroughly before opening the single-dose container.
- Do not touch the eye or other surfaces with the tip of the monodose during instillation.
- Do not use the product if you have a known intolerance to any component of the drops.
- If necessary, consult a specialist regarding the compatibility of eye drops with the contact lenses you use.
- If complications occur, such as sensitization, irritation, or burning, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor.
- Any administration of ophthalmic medications should occur at least 15 minutes after instillation of these drops, especially if the products contain benzalkonium chloride or other quaternary ammonium salts, which may cause hyaluronic acid to precipitate.
- The use of ophthalmic drugs concurrently with these eye drops should be under the supervision of a physician who can assess possible interactions.
- Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
- Discard the single dose after use.
- Store in a dry place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C. Store unused single doses in the original foil package.
- In the event of any serious claims or incidents relating to a medical device, the manufacturer and authorized representative must be notified to provide more information on the safety of this medical device.
- The product contains soy.
Expiration date
36 months if the packaging is undamaged.
