Active ingredients

Blueberry extract - (Vaccinium myrtillus L) contains protoanthocyanidins, flavonoids and tannins, which act as antioxidants. Blueberries contain essential organic acids (citric, lactic, quinic, oxalic, malic and succinic). This unique acid composition largely determines its unique healing properties. Blueberries also contain many vitamins and minerals necessary for the normal functioning of the body. The active substances of blueberries strengthen the walls of capillaries, improve blood supply to the eyes, protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation, accelerate the process of vision recovery after prolonged stress, reduce the risk of retinal degeneration and increase visual acuity at dusk.

Lutein is a component of the pigment of the macula in the retina, protects it from ultraviolet radiation, prevents clouding of the lens and destruction of the retina, and prevents the development of various forms of retinal dystrophy. It helps improve visual acuity by filtering out part of the solar spectrum before it reaches the photoreceptors (receptors that convert light energy into nerve signals). Thanks to this protection, we can see clearly and distinguish even the smallest details. In addition, lutein reduces the impact of the aggressive blue-violet part of the solar spectrum on the retina and protects the eye from free radicals formed under the influence of light.
