OlaKea cream 40 g

This is a diaper rash cream that is primarily intended to prevent skin irritation in areas at risk of ulceration, acting as a barrier between the skin and feces. Contains an emulsion based on an extract of natural proteins (protease inhibitors) from Solanum Tuberosum, which improves the barrier function of the cream, and Panthenol (at a concentration of 1%), which helps protect the skin by performing a softening and moisturizing function.

Intended purpose

OlaKea medical device is intended for infants and young children to prevent skin irritation in the diaper area. When applied to the skin in the diaper area, the cream forms an occlusive lipophilic surface layer on it, which performs a barrier function, reducing skin irritation and friction in the affected areas.

Indication

The cream is intended for daily skin care in the diaper area to prevent diaper rash. The cream is applied only to areas where there is a risk of diaper rash.

Contraindication

The cream is not intended for the treatment of severe skin damage with wounds.

Interaction

Undesirable interactions with any of the components included in the cream are not yet known.

Side effects

The cream is hypoallergenic. However, in exceptional cases, the cream may cause an allergic skin reaction.

Method of application

After thoroughly cleansing the skin in and around the diaper area, apply a thin layer of the cream each time the diaper is changed. Pay special attention to skin folds. FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.

Packaging

The tube contains 40 grams (g) of cream. The sample sachet contains 5 grams (g) of cream.

Note

• Do not use if the package has been opened, damaged or heavily contaminated.
• Close the tube carefully after each use to prevent contamination of the cream.
• Store in a dry place below 30 °C.
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Precautions

Do not use the cream after the expiration date indicated on the package.
