Composition
OliDETRIM drops in soft capsules for children from 4 months
1 capsule contains:
main ingredients: MCT oil (medium-chain fatty acids) – 420 mg (mg), vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) – 25 μg (μg) (1000 IU (IU);
Excipients: capsule shell: gelatin, glycerin.
Not a medicine. Non-GMO.
Properties
To replenish vitamin D deficiency in children from 4 months of age.
Vitamin D3 performs a large number of physiological functions. The most important function of vitamin D3 is the regulation of calcium and phosphorus metabolism, which contributes to normal bone formation and growth.
Vitamin D3 is necessary for the normal development of the child's body - it affects the absorption of calcium and helps maintain its appropriate level in the blood. With insufficient levels of vitamin D3, only 10-15% of calcium that comes with food is absorbed in the body. In addition to affecting mineral metabolism, vitamin D3 affects metabolism (synthesis of lipids, proteins, enzymes, hormones), regulates the functions of organs and systems (cardiovascular system, liver, kidneys, pancreas, gastrointestinal tract). Vitamin D3 also takes part in the functioning of the immune system, its deficiency leads to an increase in the incidence of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections.
Part of the required dose of Vitamin D3 is naturally formed in the skin under the influence of sunlight and in small quantities enters the body with food. However, such replenishment is not enough, given the limited exposure to sunlight (synthesis occurs only on clear summer days from June to August) and the small amount of vitamin D3 in food. Vitamin D3 deficiency during the period of rapid growth of a child leads to rickets, in adults - to osteomalacia, in pregnant women - to the appearance of symptoms of tetany and malformation of tooth enamel in infants.
Recommendations for use
It can be recommended by a doctor as a dietary supplement to the diet as an additional source of vitamin D3 for the prevention of rickets in infants (children aged four months to one year) and young children (children aged one to three years), as well as for the prevention and correction of vitamin D deficiency in adults. Regulates the absorption and assimilation of calcium and phosphorus in the body of children and adults.
Method of application
For children: Before use, open the capsule. To open the capsule, twist and tear off the top (head). Use the dietary supplement depending on the child's age and the way in which he can take the supplement:
squeeze the contents of the capsule directly into the child's mouth before feeding;
squeeze the contents of the capsule into a teaspoon of drinking water, milk or baby food;
apply the contents of the capsule to a pacifier and give it to the child for 20-30 minutes;
Apply the contents of the capsule to the nipple of the nursing mother before feeding the baby.
Be careful when squeezing the capsule contents to avoid dropping the capsule into the mouth (to avoid the possibility of choking on the capsule) and squeeze the capsule gently to avoid splashing its contents. Use immediately after opening. Full-term healthy infants (children from four months to one year) and toddlers (children from one year to three years), children from three to six years should be given 1 capsule per day daily (excluding the three summer months). In other cases, the dose is prescribed by a doctor.
Attention! To dilute the contents of the capsule, use water of guaranteed safety and quality.
It is unacceptable to use drinking water from wells and catchment sources.
For adults: the capsule can be swallowed with a small amount of drinking water or the contents of the capsule can be consumed after opening it. To open the capsule, twist and tear off the top (head). Take 1 capsule per day unless otherwise directed by your doctor.

Per 100 g (g)/1 capsule: proteins –0 g (g)/0 g (g), carbohydrates –0 g (g)/0 g (g), fats –99.8 g (g)/0.38 g (g), vitamin D3 – 6.58 mg (mg)/25 μg (μg); 3693 kJ (kJ)/898 kcal (kcal)/14 kJ (kJ)/3.4 kcal (kcal).
Application features
Before use and with simultaneous use of any medications, a doctor's consultation is mandatory. Infants who are fed with adapted mixtures containing vitamins of group D in amounts of daily physiological need do not need to be given the additional dietary supplement "OliDETRIM". With mixed feeding, the doctor prescribes an individual daily dose of the dietary supplement "OliDETRIM", based on the calculation of the vitamin D content in adapted mixtures and breast milk, as well as food products. Do not use simultaneously with drugs containing vitamins of group D. Before use and during use, it is necessary to monitor the calcium content in the urine.
Reservation
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a complete diet. The dietary supplement "OliDETRIM" is not intended for parenteral use. Do not use the dietary supplement "OliDETRIM" after the expiration date.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to any of the components.
