Composition

1 drop contains: main substance: vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) – 15 micrograms (μg);

excipients: vegetable oil (coconut and palm).

Description

The most important function of vitamin D is to regulate calcium and phosphate metabolism, which contributes to proper bone mineralization.

It is necessary for the functioning of the parathyroid glands, intestines, kidneys and bone system. It plays a significant role in the absorption of calcium and phosphates from the intestines, in the transport of mineral salts and in the process of bone calcification, regulates the excretion of calcium and phosphates by the kidneys. The concentration of calcium ions affects a number of important biochemical processes that determine the maintenance of skeletal muscle tone, participate in the conduction of nervous excitation and affect blood clotting. Vitamin D also participates in the functioning of the immune system, affecting the production of lymphokines.

Lack of vitamin D in food, impaired absorption, calcium deficiency, and lack of exposure to sunlight lead to osteomalacia in adults, tetany symptoms in pregnant women, and tooth enamel malformation in infants. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, vitamin D should enter the body in the required amount.

Women in menopause, who often suffer from osteoporosis, need to increase their vitamin D intake due to hormonal imbalances.

Recommendations for use

It can be recommended by a doctor as a dietary supplement to the diet as an additional source of vitamin D3 for children from birth and older to prevent and correct vitamin D deficiency conditions, regulate the absorption and assimilation of calcium and phosphorus in the body, maintain normal serum calcium levels, ensure normal growth and development of bones and teeth in children, and function of the muscular and immune systems.

Infants who are fed with adapted formulas containing vitamins of group D in amounts corresponding to the daily physiological requirement do not need to be given the additional dietary supplement "Olidetrim Kids".

When mixed feeding, the doctor prescribes an individual daily dose of the dietary supplement "Olidetrim Kids", based on the calculation of the vitamin D content in adapted mixtures and breast milk, as well as in food products. Do not use simultaneously with preparations containing vitamins of group D.

Before and during use, it is necessary to monitor the calcium content in the urine.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children, at a temperature of 15°C to 25°C.
