Composition
Citicoline sodium salt 2%, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) 0.05%, sodium hyaluronate 0.2%, benzalkonium chloride 0.01%. Water for injections, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium phosphate dibasic, dodecahydrate, sodium chloride.

Provides structural restoration of the integrity of damaged nerve cell membranes, is a growth factor for optic nerve fibers in degenerative ophthalmologic diseases such as glaucoma, glaucomatous optic neuropathy, ischemia of the optic disc, as well as changes in the fundus associated with diabetes mellitus, hypertension (angiopathy, angiosclerosis, retinopathy). Due to the temporary and reversible relaxation of the corneal epithelial barrier and a low concentration (0.01%) of benzalkonium chloride - a penetration enhancer that stimulates the increase in intercellular gaps in the cornea, citicoline penetrates the anterior chamber of the eye and, by diffusion through the vitreous body and uveoscleral space, reaches the retina and optic disc.
Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) - restores myelination and regeneration of nerve fibers in traumatic peripheral nerve damage and neurodegenerative processes, promotes re-epithelialization of corneal epithelial cells, and also protects cells from free radicals and supports the proper functioning of the ocular surface.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural high-molecular biopolymer, non-sulfonated glycosaminoglycans, which is part of the connective, epithelial and nervous tissues in the human body. It is one of the main components of the extracellular matrix, which is contained in many biological fluids (saliva, synovial fluid, vitreous humor, etc.). Hyaluronic acid plays an important role in tissue hydrodynamics, and also takes a significant part in cell proliferation and migration, has proangiogenic properties, has mucoadhesive and viscoelastic effects, improves the stability of the tear film and keeps the ocular surface lubricated, moisturized and protected, creates a favorable microenvironment for the processes of re-epithelialization, restoration of the ocular surface in cases of corneal and conjunctival damage. Hyaluronic acid helps retain the active components of the product on the surface of the eye (tear film) and prolongs the contact time of the citicoline molecule with the structures of the eye. In addition, it acts as a conductor and promotes the migration of citicoline into the anterior chamber of the eye and the vitreous body.
Indication
OMK2 OMK2, due to its neurotransmitter, antidegenerative, antioxidant, antianginal, metabolic action and improvement of microcirculation, is recommended for glaucoma and glaucomatous optic neuropathy; diabetic retinopathy; ischemic optic neuropathy; macular degeneration; degenerative corneal diseases; changes in the fundus associated with hypertension: angiopathy, angiosclerosis, retinopathy, etc.; keratitis; changes in the fundus associated with refractive errors: high-grade myopia, high-grade hyperopia, etc.; before and after keratorefractive operations: photorefractive keratotomy, LASIK (laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis), etc.; surgical interventions on the anterior segment of the eye.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to product components.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Cyanocobalamin is pharmacologically incompatible with ascorbic acid, heavy metal salts (inactivation of cyanocobalamin), thiamine bromide, pyridoxine, riboflavin (since the cobalt ion contained in the cyanocobalamin molecule destroys other vitamins).
Application features
If symptoms persist for several days or any adverse reactions occur, consult a doctor. The solution is sterile until the bottle is opened. To prevent contamination of the solution, close the bottle tightly after use and do not touch the tip of the dispenser to the eye or other objects. The product is intended for external use in ophthalmology only. If the ophthalmic solution is used for treatment, consult a doctor. Do not use the solution if the bottle is damaged. After instillation, wait 10-15 minutes before using other local ophthalmic products.
Method of administration and doses
1 drop 2-3 times a day or as directed by a doctor. The recommended course of use is 2 months 3 times a year or 4 months 2 times a year (depending on the degree/stage of the disease).
Adverse reactions
Temporary blurred vision may occur after instillation. It is recommended to wait a few seconds before starting any activity that requires clear vision. In case of any adverse reaction, discontinue use of the solution and consult a doctor.
Storage conditions
At a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C. Do not use the drug 30 days after opening the bottle.
