OMNIFER CAPS. No. 30

The main function of iron in the body is to participate in the transport of oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body through hemoglobin and myoglobin. Iron intake is also important for normal physical and neurological development, cell function, and the synthesis of certain hormones.
Insufficient iron intake into the body leads to iron deficiency anemia (IDA).
Signs that may be associated with iron deficiency anemia in adults include:
constant weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, pale skin; headache, dizziness, rapid heartbeat; impaired concentration and decreased performance; numbness of the extremities, decreased temperature of the extremities; decreased immunity, reduced ability of the body to resist infections; brittle nails, hair loss. The risk group for iron deficiency and iron deficiency includes:
Pregnant women. During pregnancy, plasma volume and red blood cell mass expand due to a sharp increase in the number of red blood cells in the mother's body. As a result of this expansion and meeting the higher needs of the fetus and placenta, the need for iron increases. People with malnutrition, in particular vegetarians. Women with menorrhagia (abnormally heavy and prolonged bleeding during menstruation). People who are forced to take medications for a long time to reduce the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach (proton pump inhibitors, H2-receptor blockers) or to reduce acidity (antacids). People with insufficient secretion of gastric juice, including those who have undergone surgery. People with impaired iron absorption due to pre-existing chronic intestinal diseases or surgery. Blood donors.Another important factor for both hematopoiesis mechanisms and for stimulating the formation of erythrocytes is the consumption of folates (vitamin B9, or folic acid, and derivatives). These compounds are also necessary for the creation and maintenance of healthy new cells, so their presence is especially important during periods of rapid development of the body - during early intrauterine development and early childhood. Given the peculiarities of the transformation of folic acid, one should pay attention to the glucosamine salt (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate - a biologically active form of vitamin B9, which is easily absorbed by the body.
Recommendations for use
"OMNIFER" is recommended as a biologically active food supplement as an additional source of iron and folate for the prevention and elimination of their deficiency (in particular, for pregnant women), when it is difficult to ensure that a sufficient amount of iron and folic acid is supplied to the body with food.
The use of iron glycinate in its organic (chelate) form ensures the best absorption of iron in the intestines even in the presence of substances and conditions that impair the absorption of this element. This composition of iron, unlike other iron salts, in the recommended daily dosage reduces the risk of constipation, nausea and other undesirable effects of iron on the gastrointestinal tract.
The use of a patented biologically active form of vitamin B9 (Quatrefolic®) allows for a better intake of folates than regular folic acid, especially in the presence of genetic mutations of the folate cycle.
Recommendations for use
Adults should take 1 capsule 1 or 2 times a day during or before meals, with water or citrus juice.
The recommended daily dose and course of administration are determined individually.
Reservation
It is recommended to consult a doctor before use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. The dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a complete diet. Use with caution in inflammatory bowel diseases. During use, discoloration of feces due to unabsorbed iron may be observed. Iron absorption may be impaired when taken simultaneously with products containing phytic acid (cereals, bran, seeds, nuts, legumes and other products rich in fiber), polyphenols (tea, coffee, cocoa products, red wine), whey protein, casein: (milk) proteins contained in soybeans; high calcium content (cheese, calcium-containing food supplements) zinc. Do not use simultaneously with parenteral forms of iron compounds, tetracyclines and their derivatives, thyroid hormones, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, antacids. If iron administration is necessary in the above cases, an interval of more than two hours should be observed.Contraindication
Individual intolerance to the components, children's age (up to 18 years), liver or kidney failure.
