OneTouch Ultra Plus Test Strips No. 50

One Touch Ultra Plus Flex™ test strips (50 pcs.) are high-quality intelligent scanning technology that provides high analysis accuracy and fully complies with international accuracy standards ISO 15197:2013.

Used for self-monitoring of blood glucose levels using the OneTouch Ultra Plus Flex™ meter, which is calibrated in plasma, allowing comparison with laboratory results. Glucose in a drop of blood enters into an electrochemical reaction with reagents in the test strip and a weak electric current is generated. The current strength varies in proportion to the glucose content in the blood sample. The OneTouch Ultra Plus Flex™ meter measures the current strength, calculates the blood glucose level and displays the result on the screen.

Key features

Smart Scan technology scans the blood sample 500 times in 5 seconds - this corrects and "filters out" the influence of 26 common interfering substances on the test result. Smart Scan has reduced the influence of hematocrit and provided an accurate blood glucose value in a wide range of hematocrit values of 20-60%. The enzyme of the test strip, FAD-GDH (flavin adenine dinucleotide-dependent glucose dehydrogenase), is glucose-specific and eliminates the influence of oxygen in the test. Complete absence of coding. Tiny blood sample - only 0.4 μl, blood is drawn into the capillary of the test strip from the right or left side.

Rules for using test strips

Do not open the test strip vial unless you intend to remove it for future use. DO NOT open the vial until you are ready to test. Once a test strip has been removed from the vial, close the cap tightly immediately. DO NOT use a strip from a vial that has been damaged or left open. When opening the vial for the first time, write the expiration date (date of opening the vial plus 6 months) on the vial label. DO NOT use the test strips after the expiration date (printed on the vial label) or the expiration date, whichever comes first. Avoid getting dirt, food, or liquid on the test strip. The test strip may be touched anywhere, but only with clean, dry hands. DO NOT bend, cut, or deform the test strip in any way. The test strips are for single use only. DO NOT use a test strip that has had blood or control solution applied to it. Before testing, make sure the meter and test strips are at the same temperature. Apply only control solution or blood sample to the test strip. Test strips should be tested at a temperature between 6 and 44°C and a relative humidity between 10 and 90%.

Storage conditions

Store the test strip vial in a cool, dry place between 4ºC and 30ºC and 10% to 90% relative humidity. DO NOT refrigerate. Protect from direct sunlight and heat. Using test strips that have not been stored properly may result in false test results.

Store test strips only in the original vial. DO NOT transfer test strips to another container to avoid damage or contamination.
