Properties
Oprega capsules are an active complex for women planning pregnancy, pregnant women, and during lactation, containing Omega-3 in the form of DHA, 12 vitamins, including active folate L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate, and 5 minerals, including iodine.
The components of the dietary supplement Oprega, capsules help strengthen the woman's body and enrich the daily diet with vitamins and minerals. The composition of the dietary supplement was developed for women planning pregnancy, pregnant women and during lactation.
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) is a polyunsaturated fatty acid belonging to the Omega-3 class. It plays an indispensable role in the development of the brain and retina of the child. Due to its deficiency in the mother's body, an increased risk of premature birth and low birth weight of the fetus is associated. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the need for DHA increases by 2.5 times compared to the usual physiological need.
L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate is an organic compound that is the most biologically active form of folic acid (vitamin B9). This is an active folate of the 3rd generation, plays an important role in the development of the nervous system of the fetus and ensuring its normal growth and development; participates in the synthesis of amino acids, nucleotides and nucleic acids; is necessary for the formation of erythrocytes and other formed blood elements. In the early stages of pregnancy, it reduces the risk of developing neural tube defects in the fetus. Folic acid deficiency is especially dangerous in the first weeks of pregnancy, this vitamin is recommended to be taken already at the stage of pregnancy planning, as well as throughout the entire period of gestation.
Vitamin B12 contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism, the development of nervous tissue, and the prevention of various types of anemia (for example, it participates, together with folate, in the synthesis of red blood cells).
Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus in the body, as well as maintaining the necessary level of calcium in the blood, teeth and bones. Helps prevent bone loss in the mother and reduces the risk of osteoporosis.
Tocopherol acetate (vitamin E) is a natural antioxidant that protects cellular structures from oxidation. It participates in vital processes of tissue metabolism, protein and hemoglobin synthesis, and has a positive effect on the functions of skeletal muscles, heart and blood vessels, and gonads. Vitamin E deficiency in early pregnancy can cause miscarriage.
Ferrous fumarate contributes to the formation of red blood cells, hemoglobin and oxygen transport in the body and tissue respiration. Iron contributes to normal metabolism and the reduction of fatigue and weakness.

Studies on the use of Opreg capsules in children have not been conducted.

Method of administration and doses
Oprega capsules are recommended for women to take 1 capsule per day during the main meal, washed down with sufficient water.
Period of use: for women 3 months before planned conception, during pregnancy, after childbirth and during breastfeeding as a source of Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, folic acid and iodine.
