Description

The drug "Ketamine" is used for constipation.

Composition

1 bottle contains (active ingredient) 30 g of castor oil.

Contraindication

hypersensitivity to the drug; poisoning with fat-soluble substances (phosphorus, benzene, phenol); articular disease of the stomach and duodenum, ulcerative colitis; poisoning with fat-soluble anthelmintic agents, male fern extract; acute inflammatory processes in the abdominal cavity (appendicitis, peritonitis); uterine bleeding; cachexia; pregnancy; advanced age; age up to 12 years; hypersensitivity to plants of the Euphorbiaceae family; undiagnosed abdominal pain; obstruction of the biliary tract; severe dehydration.

Method of application

Apply internally.

The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 15-30 g per dose.

If the drug is used to cleanse the intestines before diagnostic procedures, it is advisable to take it 6 hours before the procedure.

The use of the drug is contraindicated in pregnant women, and during breastfeeding the drug is used only if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the possible risk to the child.

Children

The drug is used in children over 12 years of age.

Overdose

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea. Treatment is symptomatic.

Side effects

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, disturbances of water and electrolyte balance. Constipation is possible after bowel movements. With prolonged use - digestive disorders, enterocolitis, development of addiction, intestinal atony.

Allergic reactions are possible.
