Description
Osteocitrate is a dietary supplement containing a complex of calcium citrate, magnesium citrate, zinc citrate, and vitamins K2 and D3 to correct calcium, vitamin D3, vitamin K2, and mineral deficiencies in the body due to insufficient intake with food, increased physiological needs of the body, and other conditions.
Minerals are presented in the form of citrates in order to achieve better bioavailability (the level of absorption when entering the human body) and reduce the risk of urinary tract stone formation and calcium deposits in the walls of blood vessels.
The release form in the form of a powder for solution ensures rapid dissolution in liquid, which improves the absorption of active ingredients after application and increases the bioavailability of the components.
Calcium is an important structural component of bone tissue and teeth, participates in the mineralization of bone tissue. In the form of citrate, it is better absorbed in the intestines, has high bioavailability and a lower risk of urinary tract stone formation with prolonged use compared to calcium carbonate; has fewer manifestations of gastrointestinal dysfunction in the form of bloating and constipation. Calcium participates in metabolism, functioning of the immune system, work of endocrine glands (normalizes secretion of parathyroid hormone), promotes collagen synthesis, regulates muscle contractions.
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is necessary for optimal calcium absorption. Regulates the metabolism of calcium, magnesium and the processes of building bone tissue and teeth - stimulates the synthesis of organic elements and calcium deposition. Improves the density and strength of bone tissue, due to the induction of collagen synthesis, activation of chondrocytes. When used simultaneously with calcium, it improves its absorption and enhances its clinical effects, as it increases the absorption of calcium from the small intestine, ensures the transport and deposition of calcium in bone tissue. Stimulates the formation of collagen, prevents the loss of calcium by bone tissue and the associated loss of bone density, prevents an increase in the level of parathyroid hormone in the blood, which enhances bone resorption in the event of a calcium deficiency in the body.
Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7) regulates calcium deposition in bones, as it activates K2-dependent proteins that ensure the transport of calcium to bone tissue, thereby improving the supply of calcium to bone tissue and preventing calcium deposition in the urinary tract and in the walls of blood vessels. Prevents osteoporosis. Stimulates the growth of dental dentin. Reduces inflammation in affected joints by reducing the level of C-reactive protein. Useful for mental activity. In combination with vitamin D3, regulates the balance of calcium in the body.
Magnesium is involved in bone metabolism and collagen biosynthesis, helps to "retain" calcium in the bones, prevents bone demineralization and calcium excretion from the bones. In combination with calcium, it participates in the regulation of blood vessel tone and muscle contraction. Magnesium in the form of citrate has high bioavailability and prevents calcium deposition in the walls of blood vessels, heart valves, muscles and urinary tract. In combination with vitamin D3, it improves the absorption and assimilation of calcium by bone tissue.
Zinc is an important trace element that is part of many enzyme systems, regulates metabolic processes, participates in protein synthesis and carbohydrate metabolism, promotes cell growth and development, proper functioning of the immune system and ensuring an immunological response. Participates in the regeneration of the bone system by stimulating synthesis processes. When used simultaneously with vitamin D3, it promotes bone tissue restoration - improves calcium absorption, increases bone density, participates in collagen biosynthesis and biochemical processes associated with the formation and functioning of bone and cartilage tissue.
