Composition

excipients: “Pear” flavoring, ethanol 52%.

Pharmacodynamics
Natural biologically active substances (amino acids, nucleotides, vitamins, minerals, phospholipids, fatty acids, sterols) that are part of the medicinal product are necessary for building our own enzymes, hormones, cellular and tissue structures, and strengthening immune defense.
The drug stimulates (tonifies) the nervous system and muscles, metabolism and basic physiological processes, promotes adaptation and resistance of the body to adverse environmental factors, increased physical and mental stress, and infectious diseases.

Indication
As part of the complex treatment:
overfatigue, nervous exhaustion, neuroses, asthenic conditions caused by infectious diseases (influenza, tuberculosis, etc.), low blood pressure; anemia and decreased immunity, respiratory diseases, digestive and metabolic disorders, sexual disorders in women (menstrual cycle disorders, decreased libido) and men (impotence caused by radiation, concomitant diseases and psycho-emotional stress, premature ejaculation, weak sexual activity in the elderly); to increase working capacity when performing heavy work, being in harsh climatic and unfavorable environmental conditions.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, arterial hypertension, organic heart diseases, angina pectoris, severe atherosclerosis, increased blood clotting, severe forms of nephritis, diarrhea, malignant neoplasms.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Pantocrin should not be prescribed with calcium preparations, drugs that increase blood clotting (vitamin K) and stimulate intestinal smooth muscle contraction (domperidone). Pantocrin enhances the effect of piracetam and other nootropic drugs.
Application features
This medicinal product contains at least 48% ethanol (alcohol), i.e. 378.8–757.6 mg/dose (20–40 drops), which is equivalent to 9.6–19.2 ml of beer, 4–8 ml of wine.
Harmful for patients suffering from alcoholism. Caution should be exercised when used in children and patients with liver disease and epilepsy.
With prolonged use of large doses of the drug, it is necessary to monitor blood pressure, blood clotting and kidney function.
If a severe side effect occurs, Pantocrine should be discontinued and the issue of reducing the dose or discontinuing the drug should be addressed.
During storage of the medicine, sediment may form, so it must be shaken before use.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
The drug contains ethanol.
The effect of the drug on the ability to drive or operate complex mechanisms is not known.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
There is no experience of use in pregnant women and women during breastfeeding.
Method of administration and doses
Adults should take 20-40 drops orally, after dissolving them in a small amount of water, 30 minutes before meals or 2 hours after meals, 2-3 times a day.
For children over 7 years of age, the drug should be administered orally at the rate of 1 drop for each year of life, previously dissolved in a small amount of water, 30 minutes before meals or 2 hours after meals, 2 times a day.
The last dose of the drug should be taken 4 hours before bedtime.
The course of treatment with the drug is 3-4 weeks. The course of treatment can be repeated as prescribed by a doctor.
Children
The drug contains ethanol.
The drug should be used in children over 7 years of age.
Overdose
An overdose of the drug may cause headache, redness of the skin, nervous excitement, and diarrhea.
Treatment is symptomatic.
Adverse reactions
When using the drug, headache and skin itching may rarely occur.
Allergic reactions are possible in people with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
