Composition
Composition of 1 capsule (25,000 U): contains 300 mg of pancreatin obtained by microbiological synthesis in gastro-resistant granules that have enzymatic activity: lipase 25,000 U. EF, amylase 18,000 U. EF, protease 1,000 U. EF.
Description
Properties.
The dietary supplement “PANZYM FORTE” is produced in the form of sustained-release pellets. Pancreatin in pellets is obtained by microbial fermentation, i.e. the source of its production is vegetarian.
The “PANZIM FORTE” capsule contains amylase, protease and lipase. Amylase aids digestion by breaking down carbohydrates; protease aids digestion of dietary proteins, which aids in the absorption of amino acids; lipase breaks down fats, promoting better absorption in the intestines.
When using “PANZIM FORTE” pellets, there is no inhibition of the body’s own enzyme secretion; they can also be used in patients with hypersensitivity to animal pancreatin (observed in 5% of people with chronic pancreatitis); they are suitable for a vegetarian diet.
“PANZIM FORTE” capsules can be prescribed to people whose body does not produce enough of its own enzymes to digest food due to exocrine insufficiency. “PANZIM FORTE” capsules help accelerate the digestive process. There is no evidence that vegan pancreatin can be used as an alternative to animal pancreatin in patients with pancreatic cancer. In such cases, you should consult a doctor.
Recommendations for use
On the recommendation of a doctor as a dietary supplement to the diet as an additional source of pancreatic enzymes (lipase, amylase, protease), which help improve the digestion of fats, carbohydrates and proteins, in functional digestive disorders, including such as dyspepsia, discomfort after eating, a feeling of fullness in the stomach, increased gas formation during digestion.
Recommended use for:
overeating, constipation, flatulence;
insufficient absorption of nutrients from food, malabsorption syndrome;
with intolerance to certain types of food (for example, fresh vegetables and fruits, etc.);
to facilitate the digestion of fats, carbohydrates and proteins, which contributes to their more complete absorption in the small intestine in people with dietary disorders.
Method of application
The dosage of the drug is based on individual needs and depends on the severity of the manifestations of dispersion and the composition of the food. Adults and children from 12 years of age can take 1 capsule in the form of microspherical granules, 2-3 times a day during or immediately after meals, swallow the capsules whole, without breaking or chewing, and drink plenty of liquid (drinking water).
The course of treatment is 2-3 months, and in the future, the need to repeat the use of the dietary supplement is agreed with the doctor.
