"Papaverine-Health" tablets are used for the following indications: spasm of smooth muscles of the abdominal organs (cholecystitis, pylorospasm, spastic colitis, renal colic), peripheral vessels (endarteritis) and cerebral vessels.
Composition
One tablet contains (active ingredient) papaverine hydrochloride 10 mg.
Excipients: refined sugar, potato starch, stearic acid, talc.
Contraindication
hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; atrioventricular conduction disorders (atrioventricular block), glaucoma, liver failure, respiratory depression, broncho-obstructive syndrome, arterial hypotension, comatose state, simultaneous administration of MAO inhibitors.Method of application
The drug should be administered orally to children aged 6 months and older 3-4 times a day.
Doses depend on the child's age:
from 6 months to one year - 2.5-5 mg (1 / 4-1 / 2 tablets) per dose, maximum daily dose - 10 mg (one tablet); 1-2 years - 2.5-5 mg (1 / 4-1 / 2 tablets) per dose, maximum daily dose - 20 mg (two tablets); 3-4 years - 5-10 mg (1 / 2-1 tablet) per dose, maximum daily dose - 30 mg (3 tablets); 5-6 years - 10 mg (one tablet) per dose, maximum daily dose - 40 mg (4 tablets); 7-9 years - 15 mg (1.5 tablets) per dose, maximum daily dose - 60 mg (6 tablets); 10-14 years - 15-20 mg (1.5-2 tablets) per dose, maximum daily dose - 80 mg (8 tablets).For children under 3 years of age, a single dose of the drug should be crushed and mixed with one teaspoon of boiled, cooled water.

There is no information on the safety and effectiveness of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Drivers
Given the possibility of adverse reactions from the nervous system (namely, dizziness, drowsiness), during treatment you should refrain from driving or using other mechanisms.
Overdose
Symptoms: visual impairment, diplopia, weakness, dry mouth, redness of the skin of the upper body, hyperventilation, nystagmus, ataxia, tachycardia, asystole, ventricular flutter, collapse, arterial hypotension, drowsiness, headache, nausea, constipation, increased sweating, allergic reactions. In case of accidental intake of very large doses of papaverine, toxic effects of the drug in the form of arrhythmias, complete or partial atrioventricular block are possible.
Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy. Gastric lavage, enterosorbents. There is no specific antidote. It is completely removed from the blood during hemodialysis.
Side effects
From the nervous system: drowsiness, headache, dizziness.
From the sensory organs: visual impairment, diplopia.
On the part of the digestive system: gastrointestinal disorders, constipation, anorexia, nausea, dry mouth, diarrhea.
On the part of the digestive system: increased activity of hepatic transaminases, jaundice, impaired liver function.
Cardiovascular system: hypotension, orthostatic hypotension, hot flashes, arrhythmia, tachycardia, block, asystole, ventricular extrasystole, ventricular fibrillation, ventricular flutter, collapse.
Respiratory: apnea.
Blood disorders: eosinophilia.
Skin, subcutaneous tissue and immune system disorders: hypersensitivity reactions, including respiratory reactions, anaphylactic shock, itching, skin rash, urticaria, redness of the skin of the upper body.
Storage conditions
