Composition
active ingredients: complex expectorant extract;
1 ml of the drug contains alcohol extract of elecampane root (Extractum Inulae fluidum) (1:(6–7)) 0.27 g; alcohol extract of Icelandic cetraria (Extractum Cetraria fluidum) (1:20) 0.18 g; tincture of soapwort root (Tinctura Saponariae) (1:5) 0.09 g; tincture of hyssop herb (Tinctura Hyssopi) (1:5) 0.18 g; tincture of thyme herb (Tinctura Тhyme) (1:5) 0.18 g;
excipient: glycerin.
Dosage form
The extract is liquid.
Main physical and chemical properties: transparent liquid of brown-yellow color with a specific odor. During storage, the formation of a flaky precipitate or turbidity is allowed.

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics.
The pharmacological activity of the drug is due to the combined effect of physiologically active substances that are part of the individual components of plant raw materials. Extracts of elecampane root, hyssop herb, thyme herb contain essential oils that stimulate the motor activity of the cilia of the ciliated epithelium of the respiratory tract, have an expectorant effect, and also have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. In addition, thyme herb extract has an antispasmodic effect on the smooth muscles of the bronchi. Cetraria Icelandic extract has an enveloping, thinning, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effect. Soapwort root extract contains saponins that have an expectorant effect.
Pharmacokinetics.
After oral administration, the essential oils that make up the preparation are almost completely absorbed in the small intestine and enter the lungs with the bloodstream, causing the pharmacological effect. The excretion of essential oils is carried out mainly by the lungs through perspiration.
Indication
As part of the complex treatment of acute respiratory diseases, bronchitis and lung diseases accompanied by difficult sputum discharge, cough, including dry, painful ones.
Contraindication
Inflammatory diseases of the stomach and intestines, gastrointestinal bleeding, condition after operations on the gastrointestinal tract, including the liver and urinary tract; severe diseases of the cardiovascular system and kidneys; hypersensitivity to the components of the drug and to plants of the Lamiaceae family, as well as to celery and birch pollen (cross-reaction is possible); children under 12 years of age.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

Application features
If during treatment with the drug the symptoms worsen and/or shortness of breath, fever, purulent sputum appear, you should consult a doctor. If the symptoms persist for one week, you should consult a doctor.
This medicine contains 60 vol. % ethanol (alcohol), i.e. 189.6 mg/dose (for a dose of 10 drops), which is equivalent to 4.8 ml of beer, 1.66 ml of wine per dose. Harmful for patients suffering from alcoholism. Caution should be exercised when using in children aged 12 years and older and in patients with liver disease and epilepsy.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
There are no results of modern clinical studies on the use of active substances during pregnancy and breastfeeding, therefore, the use of the drug during these periods is not recommended (the drug contains 60% ethanol by volume).
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
When used in therapeutic doses, it does not affect the reaction speed when driving or working with other mechanisms.
Method of administration and doses
The drug should be taken orally, after meals, 3 times a day, after dissolving it in 20–50 ml of water.
Children aged 12–13 years – 10–15 drops per dose.
Children aged 14–16 years – 15–20 drops per dose.
Adults and children over 16 years old – 20–30 drops per dose.
The duration of treatment depends on the form and severity of the disease, concomitant complex therapy, and the achieved effect and is on average 10–15 days.
Children
The safety and efficacy of the drug in children under 12 years of age have not been established, therefore it is not recommended for use in such patients.
Overdose
Overdose may increase the side effects of the drug.
Treatment: symptomatic therapy.
Adverse reactions
Gastrointestinal disorders (including cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) are possible; cardiovascular disorders (bradycardia, hypotension) in patients with heart failure. Allergic reactions (including rash, skin hyperemia, urticaria, angioedema, allergic dermatitis, anaphylactic shock).
Expiration date
3 years.
Do not use the drug after the expiration date indicated on the package.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Keep out of reach of children.
