Composition
active ingredient: tincture of peony, an unusual herb, rhizomes with roots;
1 bottle contains tincture of peony unusual herb, rhizomes with roots (Paeoniae anomale herba, rhizoma cum radicibus) (1:10) (extractant – ethanol 40%) – 100 ml.

The herb, rhizomes and roots of the unusual peony (Paeonia anomalae) contain phenols, tannins, and organic acids. Peony tincture increases the body's resistance to hypoxia, has antispasmodic, anticonvulsant, antimicrobial effects, and has the ability to increase gastric acidity.

The drug may potentiate the effects of sedatives and hypnotics, tranquilizers, neuroleptics, and antidepressants with sedative effects.

Use is contraindicated during pregnancy (has an abortifacient effect) or during breastfeeding.
Method of administration and doses
Peony tincture should be taken orally 10–15 minutes before meals. Adults should take 15–20 drops of the tincture 2–3 times a day.
The duration of the treatment course should be determined individually for each patient, taking into account the nature, severity and characteristics of the course of the disease, the stability of the achieved therapeutic effect and the tolerability of the drug.
The recommended duration of treatment is 2 weeks; if necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated after a break (after 2–3 months).
The patient should consult a doctor if the symptoms of the disease do not disappear while using the medicine or if adverse reactions not listed in the instructions for medical use of the medicine are observed.
Children
It is not recommended to use the drug in pediatric practice due to lack of experience.
Overdose
If the recommended doses are exceeded, a decrease in blood pressure, dizziness, and drowsiness are observed.
In case of overdose, the drug should be discontinued and symptomatic and supportive therapy should be administered (according to the patient's clinical condition).

Arterial hypotension, drowsiness, general weakness, as well as the development of allergic reactions (including rashes, itching, hyperemia, edema).
