Description

The medicine "peppermint leaves" is used for the following indications:

digestive tract diseases (nausea of various origins, intestinal colic, flatulence, spasms of the digestive tract); liver diseases (cholecystitis, hepatitis, cholangitis, gallstone disease); as a mild sedative (as part of complex therapy).

Composition

The active ingredient is peppermint leaves.

Contraindication

hypersensitivity to biologically active substances of the drug; spasmophilia, croup, bronchial asthma.

Method of application

Place two filter bags in a glass or enameled container, pour 200 ml of boiling water, close and let stand for 15 minutes. Take warm 3-4 times a day 15 minutes before meals:

Adults and children over 14 years old - one glass; children 12-14 years old - 1/2 glass; children 7-12 years old - 1/3 glass; children 3-7 years old - two tablespoons.

The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually. Shake the infusion before use.

The use of the drug is possible as prescribed by a doctor if the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/child.

Children

The drug is used in children over 3 years of age.

Drivers

The drug does not affect the reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms.

Overdose

Irrational use of mint preparations can lead to pain in the heart area. Therapy is symptomatic.

Side effects

Allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling, urticaria, contact dermatitis). If adverse reactions occur, you should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children.

Store the prepared infusion at a temperature of 8-15 °C for no more than 2 days.

Shelf life - 2 years.
