Composition

1 bottle contains: tincture of peppermint leaves (Folium Menthae piperitae) (1:20) (extractant - ethanol 90%) - 23.75 ml; peppermint oil - 1.25 ml.

Tincture.
Main physical and chemical properties: transparent green liquid, with a peppermint smell and taste. During storage, precipitation is allowed.

Pharmacodynamics
Peppermint oil (contains up to 70% menthol and its esters) and other biologically active substances contained in peppermint leaves (ketone-menthone, oleanolic and ursolic acids, flavonoid glycosides), stimulating sensitive receptors of the mucous membranes of the oral cavity and stomach, reflexively reduce the feeling of nausea and prevent vomiting, and also have a moderate antispasmodic, sedative and choleretic effect.

Nausea, vomiting, indigestion, angina pectoris, neuralgic pain.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. Bronchial asthma and spasmophilia.

Overdose
Irrational use of mint preparations can lead to pain in the heart area. Therapy is symptomatic.
