Peptamen® mixture is a food product for special medical purposes. It is intended for the nutrition of patients with impaired gastrointestinal function. The mixture is developed on the basis of moderate hydrolysis of whey proteins and contains medium-chain triglycerides for easy assimilation. It can be used as the sole or additional source of nutrition.

Composition

Maltodextrin, enzymatically hydrolyzed whey protein, sucrose, medium chain triglycerides, potato starch, rapeseed oil, minerals (calcium carbonate, sodium phosphate, magnesium chloride, potassium hydroxide, potassium phosphate, sodium hydroxide, calcium phosphate, iron sulfate, magnesium oxide, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide, chromium chloride, sodium selenate, sodium molybdate), emulsifier (soy lecithin), acidity regulators (citric acid, orthophosphoric acid), choline bitartrate, flavoring, vitamins (C, E, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), A, folic acid, K, D, B12, biotin), taurine, L-carnitine.

Can be used for lactose intolerance.

Method of application

1. Wash your hands. According to the dosage table, select the required volume to be prepared. Do not change the proportions.
2. Measure the required volume of clean drinking water (temperature no higher than 40 °C) and pour it into a clean cup or container. It is forbidden to use water from wells and catchment sources for preparing the product.
3. Measure the required amount of mixture using the included spoon or scales.
4. Add the powder to the water and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved.
5. After use, store the spoon inside the jar as shown in the picture.

Conditions and shelf life

Before and after opening the can, the product should be stored at a temperature of +6 °C to +30 °C and a relative humidity of no more than 75%. After opening, use the contents of the can within 4 weeks. Close the lid tightly. The diluted mixture should be used within 6 hours (when stored at a temperature of +18 °C to +25 °C) or within 24 hours when stored in the refrigerator.
