Peptamen Junior is a complete balanced diet for patients who require correction of their nutritional status and are at risk of developing malnutrition syndrome (malnutrition and/or malabsorption and/or maldigestion).

Use under medical supervision. May be used as sole source of nutrition for children 1 to 10 years of age. Not for intravenous use. Addition of medications is not recommended. For enteral administration, a pump is recommended to maintain the set flow rate.

Composition

Maltodextrin, hydrolyzed whey protein (milk), sucrose, medium chain triglycerides, potato starch, vegetable oils (rapeseed, sunflower), emulsifier (soy lecithin), minerals (calcium carbonate, potassium phosphate, sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, manganese sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide, sodium selenate, chromium chloride, sodium molybdate), flavoring, acidity regulator (E330), choline bitartrate, vitamins (C, E, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, A, B1, B2, folic acid, K, biotin, D, B12), taurine, L-carnitine.

Features

Product for special medical purposes Peptamen® Junior. Dry, complete, balanced mixture based on hydrolyzed whey protein with vanilla flavor for children aged 1 to 10 years.

Method of application

1. Wash your hands. According to the dosage table, select the required volume to be prepared.
2. Measure the required volume of clean boiled water (temperature no higher than 40°C) and pour it into a clean cup or container. It is forbidden to use water from wells and catchment sources to prepare the product.
3. Measure the required amount of mixture using the supplied spoon or scales. Use only the supplied measuring spoon.
4. Add the powder to the water and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved.
5. After use, store the spoon in the middle of the jar as shown in the picture.

Conditions and shelf life

1. Before and after opening the can, the product should be stored at a temperature of +6 °C to +30 °C and a relative humidity of no more than 75%. After opening, use the contents of the can within 4 weeks. Close the lid tightly.
2. The diluted mixture should be used within 6 hours (when stored at a temperature of +18°C to +25°C) or within 24 hours when stored in a refrigerator.
3. The powder may compact during transportation. The net weight corresponds to that stated on the packaging. Packed in a protective environment.
