Polifer® is non-toxic and can therefore be recommended in all cases of iron deficiency, including pregnancy and breastfeeding. Liposomal iron in the gastrointestinal tract is surrounded by liposomes, which bind to chylomicrons in the small intestine and are transported first to the lymphatic system and from there to the hepatic bloodstream, resulting in high bioavailability of iron at low doses of Polifer.
Thanks to liposomal technology, the bioavailability of iron in the preparation increases by 3.5 times compared to the same amount of iron not included in the liposomal structure. Liposomal iron has almost 100% bioavailability.

Iron pyrophosphate
Iron is involved in the synthesis of hemoglobin and myoglobin, catalase and peroxidase; participates in direct and indirect oxidative processes (part of 72 enzymes), ensures the normal functioning of the immune system. Ferric pyrophosphate is a water-soluble micronized source of iron, which was developed to improve iron absorption and reduce undesirable organoleptic properties. Thanks to the innovative microencapsulation technology, microencapsulated ferric pyrophosphate provides an adequate level of iron without any unpleasant side effects, such as: heartburn, diarrhea, constipation and nausea. The product provides maximum tolerability, even if constant intake is required for a long time.
Vitamin B12
It is a part of some enzymes. It activates protein metabolism, participates in the biosynthesis of methionine, nucleic acids, affects carbohydrate and fat metabolism, participates in hematopoiesis. Vitamin B12 has antianemic, hepatoprotective, hypocholesterolemic effects, activates the blood coagulation system. Dosage and use
Take regardless of meals (because Polifer® does not interact with food or medications) for children from 6 years of age and adults, 1 stick per day. The granules are dissolved in water or poured into the oral cavity on the tongue and slowly dissolved. It is not necessary to drink liquid.
The duration of use of the drug Polifer is 2-3 months. If necessary, the course is continued on the recommendation of a doctor to normalize hemoglobin levels.
