Polyvinyl chloride plastisol syringe type B-6, 180 ml with hard tip

B6 syringe with a rigid tip is a medical instrument in the form of a rubber cylinder with a removable rigid tip. The syringe is intended for suctioning fluid from body cavities in the postoperative period and for irrigation of body cavities for therapeutic and prophylactic purposes.

It is used both in medical institutions and at home.

Characteristics

Atraumatic, the surface of the syringe tip is smooth, even, without burrs and roughness; Has high absorption capacity; the tip and syringe body are resistant to acids, alkalis, and heat treatment; made of high-quality polymer materials approved by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine; non-toxic, hypoallergenic.

Indications for use

Intended for vaginal douching (irrigation, irrigation with medications) in women, enemas, cleansing, washing and so-called colon and rectal douching, or for the introduction of drug solutions into the rectum or colon.

Method of application

The syringe is used in general medical facilities, as well as for individual use at home.

Before use, the syringe barrel must be disinfected by boiling in distilled water for (30 ± 5) minutes or the syringe barrel and tip must be soaked in a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution for (80 ± 5) minutes, and then rinsed under running water.

Before use, the syringe should be lubricated with a neutral lubricant (vaseline, lanolin).

The syringe should be in contact with medicinal solutions for no more than 30 minutes.

After use, the syringe is washed with hot water to remove the medicinal solution and dried.

Expiration date

5 years from the date of manufacture.

Storage conditions

The syringe should be stored indoors at a temperature of +5 to +25°C, at a distance of at least 1 m from heating devices. After transportation at sub-zero temperatures, the syringe must be kept in its packaging for at least 24 hours under normal room conditions. Do not expose the syringe to acids, alkalis, solvents and other substances that may damage the material.
