Composition
active ingredient: 1 suppository contains: 387.10 mg of standardized bacterial culture suspension (containing 6.6 x 108 E.coli, killed and preserved in 6.6 mg of liquefied phenol);
excipients: solid fat, polyethoxylated hydrogenated castor oil.

Pharmacodynamics
The drug stimulates local immune processes due to antigenic action, causing both nonspecific and specific immune reactions, resulting in increased local immune resistance. Accelerates and improves wound healing, has an anti-inflammatory effect, prevents reinfection and superinfection.
Pharmacokinetics
Due to sorption or transcytosis, components of the bacterial culture suspension act as antigens and initiate the process of local immunization, which, in turn, causes a protective immune response.
Indication
Local treatment of hemorrhoid symptoms.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any component of the drug.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Unknown.
Application features
In case of fungal infections, a topical antifungal medication should be used simultaneously.

There are no contraindications for using the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Do not use on children.
Overdose
No cases of overdose or intoxication have been reported. In case of accidental oral administration of suppositories (e.g. by children), gastrointestinal disorders (abdominal pain, nausea) are possible.
Adverse reactions
In some cases, patients with hypersensitivity to the components of Posterizan suppositories may experience hypersensitivity reactions, including itching and burning.
