NSS 114 Urine pregnancy test kit BABYTEST
The Babytest rapid test is used for early diagnosis of pregnancy. For in vitro diagnosis only.
How the test works:
The BabyTest rapid test detects the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in the urine. The hCG content in the urine of a non-pregnant woman is usually 5.0 MMO/mn (mlU/ml). The highest concentration of hCG is reached by the 12th week of pregnancy - from 100,000 to 200,000 MMO/mn (mlU/ml). The rapid test detects hCG in the urine if its content is 10 MMO/mn (mlU/ml) or higher. This level can be detected as early as 7-10 days after fertilization.
How to use the test:
You do not need any special preparation, just follow the instructions for use. Using the jet test is extremely simple, you do not even need to collect urine. The test must be performed at room temperature. Open the sealed package, take out the test and remove the protective cap. Immediately after removing the cap, place the end of the test, marked with an arrow, under the stream of urine for 10 seconds (5) so that the liquid gets on the absorbent surface. Close the cap and wait until the colored stripes appear. The result should be evaluated no earlier than 5 minutes and no later than 10 xB. Excessive fluid intake can affect the concentration of hCG in the urine. Testing can be performed at any time of the day.
Negative result:
The presence of 1 colored strip in the control (C) zone of the rapid test and the absence of a strip in the result zone (T) indicates that the test result is negative, no hCG was detected in the urine. This means that you are either not pregnant or you tested too early. If you are not sure, repeat the test after 48 hours.
Positive result:
The presence of 2 colored lines on the test, one in the result zone T, the other in the control zone C, indicates that you are very likely pregnant - hCG has been detected in your urine. One line may be lighter than the other, they do not have to be the same color, this in any case indicates a positive test result.
The test is invalid:
The absence of colored lines in the result region (T) and control region (C) indicates that the result is invalid. Repeat the test with a new strip.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:
Sensitivity: The urine pregnancy test detects hCG at a concentration of 10 mIU/mL or greater.
Specificity: The test has been standardized according to the World Health Organization International Standard.
Addition of: LH (300 mIU/ml), FSH (1000 mIU/ml) and TSH (1000 mIU/ml) to negative (0 mIU/ml, hCG) and positive (10 mIU/ml, hCG) samples showed no reactivity.
The clinical trial demonstrated >99% overall accuracy of results.
The marking line that appears in the Control area (C) is an internal procedural control.
REAGENTS: Colloidal gold coated with BHCG antibodies; NC membrane coated with mouse a-HGG antibodies and rabbit anti-mouse IgG antibody.
WARNING:
1. It is not recommended to perform the test after drinking alcohol, as it may affect the test result.
2. If you test too soon after fertilization, the hCG level may be low and the test will show a negative result. In this case, repeat the test after 48 hours.
Q. HCG levels can be determined by a test within a few weeks after childbirth, miscarriage, or therapeutic abortion.
4. Before making any decisions regarding medical measures, you should consult a doctor; do not make decisions based solely on the results obtained using a rapid test.
