How the test works

The rapid test detects the presence of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in the urine. The hCG content in the urine of a non-pregnant woman is normally 5.0 mIU/ml.

HCG reaches high concentrations up to the 12th week of pregnancy - from 100,000 to 200,000 mIU/ml.

The test detects hCG in urine if its level is 10 mIU/ml or higher. This level can be detected 7-10 days after fertilization.

How to use

The test should be performed at room temperature.

Remove the test strip from the sealed package and perform the test immediately. Holding the test strip vertically, lower it into the container with the urine sample so that the arrows point downwards. Lower the strip deeper than the MAX line (maximum) indicated by the arrows on the test strip. After 5 seconds, remove the strip from the container and place it on a clean and dry surface. Wait for the colored lines to appear.

The result should be evaluated no earlier than 5 minutes and no later than 10 minutes.

Interpretation of results

Negative result: The presence of 1 colored line in the control zone of the rapid test and no line in the result zone means that the test result is negative, no hCG was detected in the urine. This means that you are either not pregnant or you tested too early. If you are not sure, repeat the test after 48 hours.

Positive result: The presence of two colored lines on the rapid test (one in the result zone and one in the control zone) means that you are most likely pregnant. HCG is detected in your urine. One line may be lighter than the other. They do not have to be the same color. This in any case means a positive test result.

Invalid test: The absence of colored lines in the result and control lines indicates that the result is invalid. Repeat the test with a new strip.

Warning:

It is not recommended to test after drinking alcohol, as this may affect the test result. If you test too soon after conception, the hCG level may be low and the test will show a negative result. In this case, repeat the test after 48 hours. The hCG level can be determined by the test within a few weeks after childbirth, cesarean section, miscarriage, abortion for medical reasons. Before making a decision about medical measures, consult your doctor; do not base your decision solely on the results of a rapid test.

Storage conditions

Store the rapid test at room temperature (2ºC to 30ºC) in the unopened foil pouch; check the expiration date. Do not expose the test to direct sunlight, moisture or heat.
