PreNAN breast milk fortifier is not a complete nutritional product. PreNAN breast milk fortifier is not suitable for use in infants with a diagnosed cow's milk protein allergy, lactose intolerance, and congenital metabolic diseases such as galactosemia/glucose-galactose malabsorption. Not intended for parenteral use.

Composition
Partially hydrolyzed whey proteins, maltodextrin, medium-chain triglycerides (CCT), minerals (calcium glycerophosphate, calcium phosphate, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium citrate, sodium chloride, iron sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide, manganese sulfate, sodium selenite, rapeseed oil, glucose syrup, vitamins (C, E, niacin, pantothenic acid, A, B2, B1, B6, folic acid, K, D, biotin, B12), fish oil, choline bitartrate, acidity regulator (citric acid), inositol, L-carnitine, taurine, antioxidant (mixture of tocopherols).

PreNAN breast milk fortifier is specially designed to improve the nutritional composition of breast milk in accordance with the recommendations of ESPGHAN (European Society of Pediatric Gastroenterologists, Hepatologists and Nutritionists) 2010 on the nutrition of premature babies/low-weight infants.
It is clinically proven that PreNAN breast milk fortifier in combination with breast milk supports the growth (gain of body weight) of premature and children born with low body weight. PreNAN breast milk fortifier is a modern product that increases the protein content of breast milk up to 3.6 g (g)/100 kcal (kcal) with the help of 100% whey partially hydrolyzed protein. With a mixture of fats: SLT as a source of energy and DHA to support normal vision development. The use of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the normal development of vision in infants up to 12 months of age. A beneficial effect is achieved with daily consumption of 100 mg/mg of DHA.
PreNAN breast milk fortifier is a food product for special medical purposes, specially developed to support the growth of premature and low birth weight babies who are breastfed. Further instructions are provided as standard and may be modified according to medical advice. The amount of the product in accordance with the body weight and age of premature babies and children born with low body weight should be prescribed by a doctor.
The standard enrichment level is 1 g/g per 25 ml/ml of breast milk. It is recommended to introduce the product gradually, starting with 2 g / g of breast milk fortifier PreNAN per 100 ml / ml of breast milk. After assessing tolerance within 24 hours, the enrichment can be increased to the full volume (4 g/g of PreNAN breast milk fortifier per 100 ml/ml of breast milk), or follow the feeding scheme prescribed by the doctor.
Method of application
- Each device for feeding (bottle, syringe or tube feeding container) must be prepared individually immediately before feeding.
- If you use frozen breast milk, gradually thaw it in the refrigerator (at a temperature not higher than 4 °C). Do not defrost breast milk in a microwave oven, leave it at room temperature for defrosting.
- Shake or swirl the joint before pouring into the feeding device.
- Pour only the amount of expressed breast milk necessary for enrichment into the feeding device.
- Before mixing with the fortifier, warm the breast milk to body temperature. Do not use a microwave oven.
- Add the required amount of PreNAN breast milk fortifier to the desired amount of warm breast milk (temperature 35 °C - 40 °C) using the standard dilution method (1 g / g per 25 ml / ml of breast milk) or a specially calculated amount if prescribed by a doctor.
- Close the lid and gently shake until the powder is completely dissolved and feed the baby immediately.
- Do not use the product remaining after feeding.
- An open sachet should be used immediately or thrown away.
- For tube feeding: the prepared portion of enriched breast milk should be used within 4 hours.
