Composition
Composition of 1 vaginal microclema 9 ml (ml): purified water, complex of probiotic components SPP (SirionProbioProtection) – Bacillus spp. (Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus megatherium) > 5×107 CFU/ml (CFU/ml), panthenol, saccharide isomerate, bisabolol, betaine, xanthan gum, tocopheryl acetate, sodium hyaluronate, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, lactic acid.
Main physicochemical properties: gel-like suspension, white-yellow in color.

General properties
Vaginal liquid suppository with probiotic UnikaURO - a product based on a unique combination of spore-forming probiotic bacteria of the genus Bacillus spp., panthenol and bisobalol, helps restore the physiological microbiota of the female genitourinary system, relieves unpleasant sensations in the intimate area, provides hydration and eliminates inflammation.
The complex of probiotic components SPP provides antibacterial action against a wide range of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microflora: Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, etc. This effect is achieved due to the antagonistic activity and synthesis of specific antibacterial substances surfactin, bacillomycin D, bacillin, plantazolicin and specific proteases. The influence of Bacillus spp. on Candida albicans is due to the ability to quickly compete for the environment and displace fungi, on the one hand, and the effect of specific agents on the cell membrane of the fungal cell, which leads to its destruction.
The antiviral activity of the SPP probiotic component complex is associated with surfactin, which affects the processes of virus propagation, destroys the lipid envelope and inhibits virus reproduction. Peptidoglycan-associated surfactin is a powerful antiviral compound that disrupts the integrity of virions, demonstrating a destructive effect against the virus envelope. In vitro studies have proven the effect of stopping the replication of enteroviruses, hepatitis A, B, C viruses and HIV infection, and also confirmed the antiviral effect against (ds)DNA-containing herpes simplex virus (Herpesviridae). In addition, bacteria of the genus Bacillus spp. contribute to the strengthening of nonspecific and specific immunity by enhancing the barrier function of the mucosa, activating macrophages, T- and B-lymphocytes, synthesis of immunoglobulins A and M, interleukin-6 and γ-interferon. After the introduction of UnikaURO, the complex of probiotic components SPP forms a probiotic biofilm that performs a protective function in the vagina, normalizes the pH of the internal environment to 3.8-4.5 and increases the renewal of normal microflora, which consists mainly of Lactobacillus.
Panthenol stimulates the restoration of the mucous membrane, prevents the appearance of erosions, normalizes cellular metabolism, and has a regenerating and anti-inflammatory effect.
Bisabolol is the main active component of chamomile. It has a powerful anti-inflammatory, wound-healing, antibacterial and antifungal effect. Bisabolol reduces irritation and quickly restores the mucous membrane in case of mechanical damage. Due to the mechanism of action, resistance of various types of pathogens to UnicaURO, including secondary resistance with long-term use, is not expected. The biological half-life after vaginal application is about 1 day.
Indication
If necessary, UnikaURO vaginal liquid suppositories can be used for the following purposes:
- elimination of dryness, itching, burning, inflammation and discomfort in the intimate area;
- getting rid of unpleasant odor with abundant vaginal discharge;
- enhancing vaginal hygiene before or after sexual intercourse;
- reducing vaginal dryness during menopause;
- moisturizing the vagina and vulva as needed.
As prescribed by a doctor, as part of the complex treatment of urogenital diseases and conditions, UnikaURO vaginal liquid suppositories are used for:
- infectious and inflammatory diseases of the vagina of any origin;
- vaginal dryness and croup;
- sexually transmitted infections (gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, chlamydia, ureaplasmosis);
- urinary tract infections (acute nonspecific urethritis and cystitis);
- bacterial vulvovaginitis, vaginosis, colpitis and candidiasis of mild and moderate severity;
- restoring the number of Lactobacillus after local or systemic treatment with antibacterial or steroid drugs;
- comprehensive prevention of relapses caused by herpes simplex virus types I and II, Varicella Zoster virus;
- endo- and exocervicitis, including those complicated by cervical ectopia against the background of persistence of human papillomavirus (HPV) and herpesviruses;
- prevention of recurrent vaginal infections;
- mild and moderate cervical dysplasia (ASCUS, LSIL)
- restoration of the cervical epithelium after erosion;
- infectious and inflammatory complications in obstetrics and gynecology (before surgical treatment of gynecological diseases, before childbirth and abortion, before and after the installation of an intrauterine device, before and after diathermocoagulation of the cervix, before intrauterine examinations).
Method of application and duration
The UnicaURO vaginal microclyster is used by adults and children from 12 years of age. The UnicaURO vaginal microclyster is completely ready to use. Before use, wash your hands with soap and water. Break off the cap. Moisten the tip of the microclyster with water or apply a lubricant gel. Carefully insert the microclyster into the vagina in a comfortable position, preferably lying on your back or side. Press on the microclyster and wait for the contents to be completely inserted into the vagina. It is advisable to use the UnicaURO vaginal microclyster in the evening, once a day, at the same time.
The effect of UnikaURO is prolonged and lasts up to 24 hours.
UnicaURO vaginal micro-enemas can be used long-term or in a specific course as prescribed by a doctor.

Individual hypersensitivity to the components of the product, children under 12 years of age.
