Composition

Recommendations for use

Proxelan suppositories are prescribed as a local sedative and emollient for the anorectal canal in congestive conditions associated with acute and chronic prostatitis and benign prostatic hypertrophy.

Method of application

Open the suppository by pulling on the two pre-cut parts of the blister. Insert the suppository into the rectum. Wash your hands before and after using the product.

Use one suppository per day, preferably in the evening before bedtime, or as directed by your doctor. The duration of use depends on the development of symptoms; if necessary, Proxelan suppositories can be used for a long time.

Reservation

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not swallow.

Interaction with other drugs has not been studied, therefore, before using Proxelan suppositories in combination with other products or drugs for rectal use, it is advisable to consult your doctor.

Do not use the product after the expiration date or if the packaging has been opened or damaged.

Contraindication

Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to one of the components of the product.

Side effects

Use of topical products, especially long-term use, may cause sensitization. If this occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor for appropriate therapy. If you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Storage conditions

Store the product away from light and heat, at a temperature between 4°C and 25°C.
