Pharmacodynamics
The ointment contains natural active ingredients from the bark of the Mahonia aquifolium plant, which is widely distributed in Northern Europe as an ornamental shrub under the name Mahonia. Mahonia aquifolium belongs to the barberry family and is used in homeopathy, among other things, for the treatment of dry, scaly skin diseases such as psoriasis. The effect of the drug is manifested in reducing the formation and separation of scales. The redness of the skin areas affected by psoriasis is reduced, and the inflamed areas are soothed and healed. The use of the ointment reduces the risk of relapse.
