Composition
1 capsule contains: active ingredients: myo-inositol - 500 mg (mg), D-chiro-inositol - 12.5 mg (mg), Quatrefolic® [(65)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate] - 250 meg (mcg); excipients: magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent), capsule shell: gelatin; titanium dioxide, red iron oxide (colorants). GMO-free.
Properties
Quinofolic is a combined product based on myo-inositol, D-chiro-inositol and folic acid of a new generation, specially designed for the comprehensive restoration and improvement of reproductive function in women with anovulatory infertility and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), as well as in cases of metabolic syndrome in women.
Myo-inositol is a vitamin-like compound (vitamin B8) that is involved in cell signaling and is a component of cell membranes. Myo-inositol helps to increase fertility, improves insulin sensitivity in insulin resistance (IP), reduces the level of total and free testosterone in the blood in hyperandrogenism, helps to eliminate skin problems such as: acne, seborrhea, excessive hair growth on the body and face, and also helps to restore the menstrual cycle and ovulation in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), oligo-/amenorrhea. By improving the follicular environment, myo-inositol improves nuclear-cytoplasmic maturation and oocyte quality, increases the number of high-quality embryos, improves the results of ART (assisted reproductive technology) in women with PCOS, and also contributes to the primary prevention of gestational diabetes mellitus in patients with PCOS.
D-chiro-inositol belongs to the group of substances containing vitamin B8 and is commonly known as inositol. It increases the effectiveness of myo-inositol (in a ratio of 1:40) in polycystic ovary syndrome. D-chiro-inositol is involved in metabolism, reduces elevated androgen levels, and stimulates egg maturation. With a deficiency of D-chiro-inositol, carbohydrate metabolism disorders occur, associated with insulin resistance (insensitivity of cells and tissues of the body to insulin). Thus, the use of D-chiro-inositol is justified in PCOS and metabolic syndrome.
Quatrefolic® [(6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate] is a 4th generation folate folic acid. Folic acid is a water-soluble B vitamin (vitamin B9). It plays an important role in amino acid metabolism, protein and nucleic acid synthesis (primarily in the production of DNA and RNA) and chromosome repair. Folic acid is also involved in the creation of new cells, including oocytes, and therefore is especially important for women with polycystic ovary syndrome.
Folic acid deficiency leads to increased levels of homocysteine in follicular fluid, which can lead to miscarriage. Methylfolate is the dominant form of folate, circulating in blood plasma and participating in biological processes. It is the most biologically active form of folic acid, which has high bioavailability and does not require additional metabolism in the body. Methylfolate is necessary for maintaining optimal functional state of the cardiovascular and nervous systems, as well as for normal cell division and tissue growth in the body.
Recommendations for use
Quinofolic is recommended as an additional source of myo-inositol (vitamin B8), D-chiro-inositol, methylfolate (vitamin B9) in order to normalize the functional state of:
reproductive system in women with polycystic ovaries;
anovulatory infertility in women with PCOS;
insulin resistance (IP) in women with PCOS;
lack of ovulation;
hyperandrogenism, dysmenorrhea (opygo-/amenorrhea);
immaturity and low quality of oocytes and, as a result, low quality of embryos;
metabolic syndrome for the regulation of impaired metabolic functions associated with dyslipidemia, hypercysteinemia, and impaired insulin sensitivity;
for the prevention of premature ovarian failure syndrome.
Method of application
Adult women should take 2 capsules once a day in the morning before breakfast, with sufficient drinking water. If necessary, the daily dose can be determined by the doctor individually. The duration of administration is determined by the doctor individually.
It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.
Reservation
Quinofolic should not be used as a substitute for a complete diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding only as directed by a doctor.
Contraindication
Individual sensitivity to components, pregnancy and lactation, taking lipid-lowering drugs of a number of statins.
Storage conditions
