Composition
active ingredient: chlorquinaldol;
1 suppository contains 0.015 g of chlorquinaldol;
excipients: preparation OS-20 (a mixture of polyoxyethylene glycol esters of higher fatty alcohols), cetostearyl alcohol, poloxamer 188, propylene glycol, polyethylene oxide 400.

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
Suppositories have an antifungal effect on ascomycetes of the genus Aspergillus and the genus Penicillium, yeast and yeast-like (Candida albicans, etc.) fungi, as well as dermatophytes. Suppositories Hinofucin have an antibacterial effect on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria (Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus vulgaris, Corinebacterium diphtheriae, Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli), as well as some protozoa (Entamoeba histolitica, Trichomonas vaginalis, Lamblia intestinalis).
The drug has moderate hyperosmolar activity, due to which it absorbs vaginal discharge.
Pharmacokinetics
Chlorquinaldol is not absorbed and does not have a resorptive effect when used vaginally.
Indication
Treatment of colpitis and vulvovaginitis of fungal and non-specific bacterial etiology.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to chlorquinaldol or to any other component of the drug.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
There is no evidence of any interaction.
Application features
Due to its broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity, the drug should be used for mixed bacterial and fungal infections, especially in the initial period of treatment (before identifying the causative agents of the disease). It is advisable to avoid douching during the period of use of suppositories.
In case of vulvovaginal candidiasis, treatment should be carried out in combination with oral administration of nystatin tablets to eliminate foci of candidal infection in the gastrointestinal tract.
For nonspecific colpitis, combination therapy is recommended: vaginally - Quinofucin suppositories, and orally - appropriate systemic antibiotics to suppress infection in the genitourinary tract. At the same time, the sexual partner should be treated.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Given the possibility of developing general reactions, the drug can be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding only if the expected benefit from using the drug for the mother outweighs the possible risk to the fetus.

Method of administration and doses
Before using the suppository, you must:
– tear off one suppository in the primary packaging along the perforation line of the blister package;
– then you need to pull the edges of the film, tearing it in different directions, and release the suppository from the primary packaging.
The drug is administered to adult women vaginally 1 suppository per day for 20 days or 1 suppository 2 times a day for 10 days. Before use, the suppository must be moistened with water. Therapy should be started at the beginning of the menstrual cycle.
Children
Due to the lack of clinical data, it is not recommended to prescribe the drug to children.
Overdose
No cases of overdose have been observed.
Adverse reactions may be exacerbated. In such cases, symptomatic therapy should be administered if necessary.
Adverse reactions
Allergic reactions are possible, including rash, itching in the genital area, contact dermatitis. Reactions at the injection site, burning, irritation are possible.
Cetostearyl alcohol can cause local skin reactions, contact dermatitis.
Propylene glycol may cause irritation.
