Main physicochemical properties: round, flat tablets of white or white with a yellowish tinge with possible inclusions with a dividing line.

Pharmacotherapeutic group

A complex homeopathic preparation.

Pharmacological properties

The drug restores hormonal balance and interactions in the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovary system. The use of the drug for menstrual disorders restores the regularity of the menstrual cycle; relieves pain during menstruation; normalizes the volume of blood lost; reduces the manifestations of premenstrual syndrome (irritability, tearfulness, tendency to depression, swelling, breast enlargement, skin rashes, decreased performance, headache, autonomic disorders).

The use of the drug in the premenopausal period and during menopause prevents the occurrence and eliminates climacteric disorders: hot flashes, sweating, palpitations, dizziness, migraines; eliminates emotional imbalance, irritability, aggressiveness; improves mood; normalizes fat metabolism, stabilizes blood pressure and reduces the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases; prevents premature aging and the appearance of excess body weight.

In inflammatory gynecological diseases, the drug exhibits an anti-inflammatory effect, increases the body's adaptive capabilities, and prevents chronicity and relapses.

Indication

Menstrual cycle disorders, premenstrual syndrome, painful menstruation, menopausal disorders, as well as in the complex treatment of inflammatory gynecological diseases.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity (allergy) to any component of the drug.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

Clinically significant interactions of Remens® with other drugs have not been established. The drug can be combined with any drugs and treatment methods.

Application features

The tablets contain lactose, therefore patients with rare hereditary forms of galactose intolerance, lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome should use the drug in the form of drops instead of Remens® tablets.

Since Remens® contains natural plant components, a slight change in the taste and color of the tablet may occur during storage, which does not lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of the drug.

If signs of liver damage appear (fatigue, loss of appetite, jaundice, upper abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, dark urine), the drug should be discontinued.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

The drug is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms.

Method of administration and doses

Adults and adolescents: 1 tablet 2 times a day.

To speed up recovery at the beginning of treatment, as well as in cases requiring rapid relief of symptoms, the drug can be taken every half hour to an hour until the condition improves, but no more than 4 times a day, after which it can be taken 2 times a day.

To achieve maximum effect, Remens® is recommended to be taken between meals (30 minutes before or 1 hour after a meal). It is recommended to keep the tablet in the mouth until completely dissolved.

Duration of treatment: 3 months, and in case of menopausal syndrome – at least 6 months. If necessary, the course can be repeated (after consulting a doctor).

Children

The drug can be prescribed to adolescents.

Overdose

No cases of overdose have been identified.

Adverse reactions

In exceptional cases, allergic reactions are possible in individuals with hypersensitivity to any component of the drug; disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and hepatobiliary system.

If any adverse reactions occur, discontinue use of the drug and consult a doctor.

Expiration date

5 years.

Storage conditions

Store in the original cardboard packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C.

Keep out of reach of children.
