Composition

1 capsule contains: Lespedeza L. extract - 300 mg.

Ingredients: Lespedeza L. extract, microcrystalline cellulose, anti-caking agents: calcium stearate, silicon dioxide; capsule shell: gelatin.

Properties

Lespedeza L. extract is a species of flowering plant in the legume family, commonly known as round-headed lespedeza. It is native to eastern North America, including eastern Canada and the eastern half of the United States.

In folk medicine, the stems and leaves of Lespedeza are used. Lespedeza capitulata contains catechins that have P-vitamin activity. Lespedeza is rich in polyphenols (isoorientin or lispecapitoside).

During the research, the diuretic effect of the plant was confirmed, due to the content of flavonoids in it. At the same time, the ability of the extract to reduce the level of urea in the blood was proven. In addition, it was proven that lespedeza prevents the development of atheromatous ulcers (a defect in the inner lining of the vessel, formed during the disintegration of atherosclerotic plaque), due to its antioxidant properties, due to the content of polyphenols and their effect on free radicals.

In folk medicine, the green parts of lespedeza are used as a diuretic for mild urinary disorders and nephritis, and there are indications for use in uremia, in which it is extremely important to reduce the level of urea in the blood.

The active components of lespedeza extract have analgesic, antimicrobial, and diuretic properties, and contribute to the elimination of nitrogenous waste due to the diuretic effect of the plant.

It can be recommended as a source of rutin; flavones, catechins.

Adults take 1 capsule 3 times a day after meals.
