Composition
active ingredient: 1 capsule contains 300 mg of distillate of a mixture of rectified essential oils of eucalyptus, sweet orange, myrtle and lemon;
excipient: refined rapeseed oil;
capsule shell composition: gelatin; glycerin 85%, sorbitol non-crystallizing solution (E 420); hydrochloric acid 13% (obtained from hydrochloric acid 25% and purified water); hypromellose acetate succinate; triethyl citrate; sodium lauryl sulfate; talc; dextrin; ammonium glycyrrhizate.
Dosage form
Enteric-coated capsules.
Main physicochemical properties: transparent soft gelatin capsule (elongated shape) with a natural yellowish color. Capsule contents: transparent liquid with a characteristic odor.

The active ingredient of Respero Myrtol Forte is a distillate of a mixture of rectified essential oils of eucalyptus, sweet orange, myrtle, and lemon.
The distillate of a mixture of rectified essential oils of eucalyptus, sweet orange, myrtle and lemon exhibits secretomotor and secretolytic effects, which leads to liquefaction of sputum, activation of the mucociliary epithelium and, as a result, intensive sputum discharge. When used in high doses, it also exhibits anti-infective, immunomodulatory, antispasmodic and vasodilating effects.
Indication
As part of complex therapy for acute and chronic bronchitis, inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (sinusitis).
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; inflammatory diseases of the stomach, intestines and biliary tract; severe liver dysfunction.
Special safety measures.
If the symptoms of the disease do not disappear or the patient's condition worsens, if shortness of breath appears, the temperature rises, blood or pus appears in the sputum, you should immediately consult a doctor.
Patients with bronchial asthma or whooping cough should consult a doctor before using the medicine.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

Method of administration and doses
It is recommended to take Respero Myrtle Forte capsules 30 minutes before meals, with plenty of cool water or other drinks.
Adults and children over 10 years of age with a clinical picture of acute inflammation should take 1 capsule 3-4 times a day. In order to create conditions for improved sleep, the last dose should be taken before bedtime.
In chronic cases, take 1 capsule 2 times a day. The same dosage is recommended for long-term therapy.
To facilitate morning sputum discharge in chronic bronchitis, it is recommended to take an additional 1 capsule of Respero Myrtol forte in the evening, before bedtime.
Children aged 6 to 10 years (this drug should be administered to children when they can swallow the capsule on their own) should be prescribed 1 capsule 2 times a day.
The drug should be used during the period of symptoms of the disease and within 2-4 days after their disappearance.
Children
This dosage form can be prescribed to children aged 6 years and older.
Overdose
No cases of drug overdose were observed.
Adverse reactions
Rarely (from 1 to 10 cases per 1000) pain and discomfort in the gastrointestinal tract may occur. Very rarely (from 1 to 10 cases per 10,000) nausea, vomiting, diarrhea may occur. There are also isolated cases of allergic reactions, including skin rashes, itching, redness, facial swelling, shortness of breath, circulatory disorders. In 1 case per 10,000, exacerbation of gallstone and urolithiasis may occur.
