Properties
Resvega Forte is a dietary supplement for maintaining healthy vision, containing high doses of vitamins and trace elements with antioxidant properties, lutein, zeaxanthin, omega-3 essential fatty acids and trans-resveratrol.
The composition of Resvega Forte was developed by nutritionists and ophthalmologists specializing in the study of the retina. Resvega is intended to replenish the deficiency of antioxidants, lutein, zeaxanthin, omega-3 essential fatty acids, resveratrol, which may be associated with age or an unbalanced diet (insufficiently varied, containing few fruits, vegetables and fish).
Free radicals are molecules that are formed during cell metabolism. Excess free radicals can have a toxic effect and cause damage to the structure of lipids, proteins and DNA, which leads to a deterioration in cell functions. Under normal physiological conditions, the formation of free radicals is suppressed by the protective system, in which antioxidants play an important role. With increasing age or in people who receive an unbalanced diet, a deficiency of antioxidants may occur. In this case, it is necessary to supplement the diet with dietary supplements.
Antioxidants protect cells from damage by free radicals, which accelerate aging and cell destruction. They can help scavenge free radicals and thus provide protection against retinal and macular aging.
Vitamin E has antioxidant properties that contribute to:
protection of cell membranes;
protection of fatty acids from oxidation.
Vitamin E is found in vegetable oils. The suggested dose of 30 mg per capsule is 250% of the recommended daily intake. (Nutrient Reference Values (Regulation (EU) 1169/2011)
Vitamin C, ascorbic acid, is involved in the neutralization of free radicals. Vitamin C is necessary for the restoration of oxidized vitamin E (tocopherol radical). Vitamin C is found in fruits and vegetables. The presented dose of 120 mg per capsule is 150% of the recommended daily intake (Nutrient Reference Values (Regulation (EU) 1169/2011).
Zinc is a natural activator of more than 200 enzymes. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of healthy vision. It acts as an antioxidant through complex mechanisms. Zinc is found in meat and fish. The presented dose of 12.5 mg is 125% of the daily recommended dose (Nutrient Reference Values (Regulation (EU) 1169/2011).
Copper plays an important role in the removal of free radicals. Since large doses of zinc impair the absorption of copper, copper should also be taken when taking dietary supplements containing zinc. Copper is found in meat offal, shellfish, dried fruits. The presented dose of -1 mg per day is 100% of the recommended daily dose (Nutrient Reference Values (Regulation (EU) 1169/2011).
Vitamins E and C, zinc and copper protect cell elements from damage by oxidants.
Vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 is also called the "sunshine vitamin." It belongs to the fat-soluble vitamins, it is formed in the body either when exposed to sunlight or comes with food. Vitamin D3 is the only one among vitamins that acts in the body as a vitamin and as a hormone. Vitamin D3 affects calcium metabolism in the body, increases immunity, participates in the regulation of blood pressure and heart function, and is an important component for eye health. Vitamin D3 is present in fatty fish such as tuna, salmon and herring.
Omega-3 essential fatty acids (DHA and EPA) support healthy vision.
Lutein and zeaxanthin are two yellow pigments present in high concentrations in the retina of the eye, in the macula, which is responsible for central vision and visual acuity. Lutein and zeaxanthin form a protective filter against harmful blue light rays. They also act as antioxidants, protecting the retina from oxidative damage. Lutein and zeaxanthin are found in high amounts in some green vegetables, such as spinach, broccoli, and lettuce.
Resveratrol is a molecule that is an inhibitor in vitro of low-density lipoprotein oxidation, platelet aggregation and the synthesis of eicosanoids (inflammatory molecules). Resveratrol is called the "French paradox". After all, thanks to its consumption (red wine of special types), the mortality rates from cardiovascular diseases in the French are lower than in other European countries, despite the French consuming a large amount of fatty foods. New studies show a positive effect of resveratrol in the case of ophthalmological diseases such as cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, retinoblastoma, etc. Resveratrol is found in some fruits, especially grapes, and also in wine.
Recommendations for use
Resvega Forte can be recommended for dietary correction as an additional source of antioxidant vitamins C, D3, E, trace elements zinc and copper, omega-3 essential fatty acids, macular pigments (lutein and zeaxanthin) and trans-resveratrol in order to create optimal dietary conditions for maintaining healthy vision, normal visual functions, and protecting the organs of vision from oxidative damage.
Method of application
Take two capsules per day, preferably with meals, with a small amount of water.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Duration of use: up to 12 weeks; further duration of use should be agreed with the doctor.
Reservation
