Composition

Hyaluronic acid in the form of sodium hyaluronate, propylene glycol, carbomer, triethanolamine, purified water.

Properties

Hyaluronic acid is a natural physiological structural element of the human body. Hyaluronic acid binds water and forms a viscoelastic membrane-matrix on the surface of the vaginal mucosa. Thus, it forms a protective matrix on the mucosa and helps restore natural hydration and can significantly affect tissue elasticity and support the natural healing process.

Recommendations for use

Vaginal gel with hyaluronic acid "REVITAXA® gel" is intended to eliminate vaginal dryness:

• postmenopausal women with established vaginal atrophy and a feeling of irritation, itching, and discomfort during sexual intercourse (dyspareunia);
• premenopausal women after recent surgery in the genital area, which creates the prerequisites for dyspareunia;
• women with atrophy or dystrophy of the vaginal mucosa due to ionizing radiation, cryoablation, chemotherapy, corticosteroids, oral contraceptives, or any other medical interventions.

Promotes wound healing after childbirth, accelerates recovery after surgical gynecological procedures on the vagina, reduces inflammation and relieves discomfort from dryness of the vaginal mucosa associated with aging or estrogen deficiency during menopause, and facilitates sexual intercourse.

Method of application

"REVITAXA® Gel" is intended for adults for topical vaginal application as needed. It is recommended to apply the gel in the evening before bedtime or as directed by a physician. Postmenopausal women with vaginal atrophy and dryness due to low levels of endogenous estrogens are recommended to use the gel systematically. For premenopausal women with recent surgical interventions in the genital area, the duration of use depends on the healing process. In individuals receiving radiation, the gel should be used in parallel with radiotherapy. "REVITAXA® Gel" should be used only topically inside the vagina and/or externally in the genital area.

Application features

"REVITAXA® Gel" is intended exclusively for topical use inside the vagina or externally in the genital area. "REVITAXA® Gel" is usually well tolerated and, unless otherwise advised by your doctor, can be used for a long time. It can be used during menstruation. Do not reuse the applicator. Pregnant and breastfeeding women can use the gel as prescribed by a doctor. Do not use simultaneously with disinfectants containing quaternary ammonium salts, such as benzalkonium chloride, as hyaluronic acid may precipitate in their presence.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to any component.

Expiration date

36 months from date of manufacture. Expiry date is stated on the packaging. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging in a dry, dark place out of reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Use within one month after opening.
