General properties
ROTABIOTIK is a combined synbiotic, which includes probiotic live lyophilized lacto- and bifidobacteria (Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium sрp., as well as Streptococcus thermophilus) and the prebiotic inulin.
ROTABIOTIK optimizes the body's functions, regulates the balance and normalizes the composition of intestinal microflora, and maintains a normal balance of vaginal microflora.
Lactobacilli, which are part of ROTABIOTIK, break down carbohydrates with the formation of lactic acid. The acidic environment created thereby promotes the development of bifidobacteria, which make up 85-95% of the intestinal microflora of the human body. The cultures of Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus form a symbiosis, compensating for each other's metabolism and stimulating mutual growth.
Inulin is a plant polysaccharide, a polymer of D-fructose. It increases the absorption of calcium and magnesium, helps normalize lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, reduces the concentration of cholesterol and glucose in the blood. Inulin has a positive effect on the intestinal flora and stimulates the growth of lacto- and bifidobacteria. In addition, inulin has a prokinetic effect (stimulates intestinal peristalsis).
Lactobacteria, due to their ability to colonize the intestines, are considered natural competitors for a place in the microbiocenosis and for a food substrate, and, as a result, passively displace pathogenic bacteria and restore the normal balance of microflora. Lacto- and bifidobacteria increase the body's nonspecific resistance and have an immunomodulatory effect.
Bacteria of normal microflora, which are part of ROTABIOTIK, activate parietal digestion, participate in the enzymatic breakdown of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, as well as in the processes of bile acid and cholesterol metabolism. Lacto- and bifidobacteria synthesize amino acids, pantothenic acid, vitamins K and group B, promote the absorption of iron, calcium, vitamin D; they also synthesize pro-inflammatory cytokines, prevent the development of food allergies and help reduce the manifestations of dermatitis (including atopic) and eczema.
Intestinal dysbiosis is a risk factor for the development of severe allergic skin lesions. Pathophysiological processes in the digestive system lead to the formation of antigenic complexes and abnormal food breakdown products containing microbial components. As a result, food sensitization of the body occurs, which is the leading mechanism for the development of allergic diseases of the skin and mucous membranes.
Under the influence of various factors - hormonal imbalance; reduced immunity (against the background of other diseases); pregnancy, which also changes the balance of hormones; taking certain medications (antibiotics, hormonal drugs, contraceptives, etc.); insufficient or excessive hygiene of the genitals, as well as improper use of tampons; urinary tract infections and frequent change of sexual partners - the balance of vaginal microflora is disturbed. With vaginal dysbiosis, the concentration of intestinal microorganisms in the urogenital tract increases sharply. At the same time, the level of beneficial bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium decreases in the intestinal and vaginal contents.
Lactobacilli, which are part of ROTABIOTIK, restore the natural acidic environment of the vagina, prevent pathogenic microorganisms from attaching to the surface of the vaginal mucosa and increase its protective properties.
Inulin, which is part of ROTABIOTICS, is a prebiotic, as it is the best nutrient medium for beneficial lacto- and bifidobacteria in the intestines.
In addition, the benefit of inulin lies in its ability to lower cholesterol and blood glucose levels by replacing it with natural fructose. Therefore, the polysaccharide is of particular value for people suffering from type 1 and type 2 diabetes.
By improving metabolism and healing lymphoid tissue, inulin strengthens the immune system and increases the body's resistance to pathogenic microorganisms and viruses.
Thus, thanks to the combination of lacto- and bifidobacteria and inulin, ROTABIOTIK exhibits increased effectiveness compared to products containing a single type of bacteria.
As a dietary supplement to the diet as an additional source of probiotic lacto- and bifidobacteria, plant polysaccharides to regulate the activity of the gastrointestinal tract microflora and improve digestion. The complex of pro- and prebiotics included in the composition helps to increase immunity and prevents the development of: dysbacteriosis, gastroenteritis, dyspepsia, diarrhea (associated with taking antibiotics, including during the eradication of Helicobacter pylori), hospital diarrhea, transient intestinal dysfunctions (diarrhea, constipation, flatulence, colic) associated with a change in diet, travel and other reasons); allergic conditions (allergic rhinitis, asthma, eczema, atopic dermatitis, diathesis); maintains the normal balance of vaginal microflora in situations associated with an increased risk of its disruption, including after previous illnesses, during and after treatment with antibiotics and other medications, and during prenatal preparation for pregnant women at risk (with impaired vaginal secretion purity).
Method of administration and doses
On doctor's recommendation
for young children (children aged 1 to 3 years) - take 1 capsule 1-2 times a day;
children aged 3 to 12 years - take 1 capsule 1-3 times a day,
children aged 12 years and older and adults - 1-2 capsules 1-3 times a day.
In obstetric and gynecological practice, ROTABIOTIK is used in normal doses.
For prenatal preparation, pregnant women at risk take 2 capsules once a day for 5-8 days.
Take the capsules 30 minutes after a meal, with drinking water.
For children aged 1 to 3 years and persons who cannot swallow a whole capsule, immediately before use, the capsule should be opened, the contents poured into a spoon and mixed with a small amount of drinking water at room temperature. The resulting mixture should not be stored.
The duration of the course of consumption is determined by the doctor individually.
Usually the course of consumption is 3-4 weeks. In case of dysbacteriosis resulting from the use of antibiotics, sulfonamide drugs and for other reasons, after the end of the course of consumption, in the absence of complete normalization of microflora, after 10-14 days, maintenance doses of ROTABIOTIK (half the recommended daily dose) are prescribed for 1-1.5 months.
For conditions that are prone to relapse, repeated courses of consumption are advisable, but not earlier than after a month.

WARNING!
To dissolve the contents of the capsule, use drinking water of guaranteed safety and quality. Drinking water from wells and catchment sources is not permissible.
ROTABIOTIK capsules should not be taken with alcohol or hot drinks.
For maximum effectiveness, the interval between taking the dietary supplement and antibiotics should be at least 3 hours.
