Composition
1 bottle contains:
active ingredients: liquid extract (1:1) from medicinal plant raw materials: chamomile flowers (flores chamomile), marigold flowers (flores calendulae), yarrow (herba millefolii) (2:1:1) – 55 ml or 110 ml;
Excipients: ethanol (96%), purified water.
Dosage form
The extract is liquid.
Main physical and chemical properties: dark brown liquid with an orange tint, with a specific odor. During storage, sediment formation is allowed.

Pharmacodynamics
A combined herbal preparation, the effect of which is due to the physiologically active substances that make up its composition, which have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antispasmodic effects, as well as reduce capillary permeability, enhance and accelerate the processes of regeneration of mucous membranes (improve trophic processes) and have moderate hemostatic properties.
The drug has a positive effect on the trophism of the gastric mucosa and has an antispasmodic effect.
Rotokan has a wound-healing and antioxidant effect.
Indication
In dental practice for inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa (aphthous and other stomatitis, ulcerative-necrotic gingivostomatitis).
As part of combination therapy in the treatment of digestive diseases (chronic gastritis, duodenitis, functional dyspepsia, chronic colitis).
Contraindication
Increased individual sensitivity to any components of the drug.
When taken orally, increased blood clotting, tendency to thrombus formation.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Unknown. If it is necessary to use any other medicines at the same time, you should consult a doctor.
Application features
Do not use the drug for longer than the prescribed period without consulting a doctor. If the signs of the disease do not disappear or, on the contrary, the state of health worsens, undesirable phenomena appear, you should consult a doctor for advice on further use of the drug.
When using, do not exceed recommended doses.
For peptic ulcer disease and gastritis with high acidity, use together with antacids and antispasmodics.

Method of administration and doses
Before use, dissolve 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of Rotocan in 1 glass of warm water for adults and children over 12 years of age.
Periodontal disease should be treated locally after removing dental plaque and instrumental treatment of pathological gingival pockets. Thin turundas, well moistened with the prepared solution of the drug, should be inserted into the gingival pocket for 20 minutes. The procedure should be carried out daily or every other day (4–6 times).
For stomatitis and other diseases of the oral mucosa, the drug is prescribed in the form of applications from the prepared solution of the drug for 15–20 minutes or oral baths from the same solution for 1–2 minutes. Apply 2–3 times a day for 2–5 days.
In gastroenterology, Rotokan is taken orally and used in microenemas.
Internally, apply 1/2–1/3 cup of the solution at the rate of 1 teaspoon of Rotokan per 1 cup of warm boiled water 30 minutes before meals or 40–60 minutes after meals 3–4 times a day.
For microclysters: 1 teaspoon of the drug per 50–100 ml of warm boiled water (after cleansing the intestines) 1–2 times a day. The course of treatment is 15–20 days. The duration of use of the drug depends on the achieved therapeutic effect and the course of the disease.
Children
Do not use the drug in children under 12 years of age.
Overdose
Cases of overdose have not been described.
Possible increase in adverse reactions.
When taken orally, an overdose is accompanied by acute alcohol poisoning, the symptoms of which are similar to those of ethyl alcohol poisoning.
Treatment: gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.
Adverse reactions
In individuals with hypersensitivity, allergic reactions, skin swelling, skin redness, rash, itching, urticaria, angioedema, anaphylactic shock are possible.
If any negative reactions occur, you should stop using Rotokan and consult a doctor regarding its further use.
